Maybe... just maaaaaayyyybe... if those same “minorities” weren’t out there breaking into peoples’ homes, carjacking innocent folks, assaulting elderly folks, playing “White Girl Bleed A Lot” and “The Knockout Game”, holding up convenience stores, etc., ... just MAYBE they wouldn’t wind up getting shot...
I dunno... I guess logic is “rayyyycist” now too...
Haiti was a beacon of stability under dictatorships; it has been all downhill since they tossed them. They had been a big tourist draw; now they are pariahs.
They sought reparations because when a French fleet was sent to suppress the revolt they were bought off with compensation for French landowners & companies (200+ years ago); now Haiti wants that money back (+ interest and pain/suffering, I guess).
