This involves much more than just the shutdown. The feds obviously realize that more and more smart Americans are tired of paying for the bloated, impotent, archaic federal government -- which has become little more than a jobs program and welfare distributor -- and are anxious to trim it. Maybe even cut it to the bone. If they can't make the case that "big government" is still relevant, it's doomed.
While smart Americans may be tired of the bloated jobs program and welfare distributor that is our federal Government, the “feds” aren’t trying to trim it at all. Obama is just being vindictive, trying to use his “gun” for the knife fight.
We should be calling for a Congressional investigation of what is going on - how much has been spent to close things down versus keep them open? Who gave what orders? These idiots send emails, Zero’s guns are smoking right now - Congress just has to find them.
Can you imagine what he will do when healthcare is truly dependent on the federal system? People will literally die for lack of care when he tries to pull this kind of cr#p next time he doesn’t get his way and he forces a shutdown.
