Rent-a-cops hired to ring Independence Hall - threaten arrests
Washington Examiner ^ | 10/10/13 | Paul Bedard

Armed private security guards are on the job to keep the public away from Philadelphia’s Independence Hall, and one even threatened to arrest a political activist if he stepped on the sidewalk beside the iconic building where the Declaration of Independence and Constitution were debated and adopted.

“You will be arrested,” said one of the hired guards to activist Craig Bergman as a video team filmed his stop at the downtown historical center.

In the video, Bergman asks a National Park Service ranger who was paying for the rented cops, and was told, “You are.” The badge on the private guards read “SecTec,” a Virginia-based security company that operates around the nation. A source said that SecTec often is used for the Hall's security. Their webpage includes Independence Hall as a client.

Mass civil disobedience is very powerful, and got tyrant Morsi out of office in Cairo and in India it got the Brits out of their country.

Think of that , a large group of people , peacefully walking into Independence Hall past 0bama's rent-a-cops. The irony would be perfect, and the youtube would be priceless.

Use Alinski's tactics against the former professor of Alinski now squatting in the Spite House.

Thanks for the verification of the SBA 8(a).
Someone posted a photo of the purported to be the CEO Wilfred (Bill) Blood as melanin challenged. However older docs list Edward Rhoades as president with Blood as CEO. As a privately held company true ownership is not always easy to trace, especially with minority figureheads of that era. Owner ain’t always the pres.

“Man bows up at me like that and puts his hand on his firearm, there are going to be problems.”

They look like they’re armed with flashlights to me. That boy sure does look froggy. He looks like he’s going to open a can of ‘Paul Blart Mall Cop’ whoop-ass on you.

SecTek was founded in 1992 as a SBA 8(a) small disadvantaged business.

Maybe it's one of those "short bus" disabilities.

Crap....Congress can't even bring HILLARY, and the IRS up on BLATANT CHARGES!!!

I think the Pubs are MUCH MORE MORL than the Dems, but the DEMS would have mopped up Hillary (IF SHE WAS ON THE RIGHT) AND ALL THE IRS LAWBREAKERS in RECORD TIME!! 45 PEOPLE WOULD BE IN PRISON!

Democrats are Law-Less because Republican leaders are BALL-LESS!!

They’ve had arrest authority since at least the early 1980s (and probably before that, that’s as far back as I can remember).

Here is what happened to a dog walker in newly-seized fed/NPS land in the SF Bay Area:

What about the Liberty Bell?

Liberty Bell is in a glorified greenhouse a block away across the square. I might stand across the street with binoculars and see what happens.

You can just walk on the city street and view it through the window.

What’s this mean? > SecTek was founded in 1992 as a SBA 8(a) small disadvantaged business.

Ill take a shot. It means that the business was set up a by a person or persons of the protected class who had less than the normal minimum investment necessary to start the business and who was granted special subsidize low interest loans and now receives preferential treatment in awards of government related contracts precisely because they are one of the protected class.

Notice the female ranger is wearing a bullet proof vest. Think they are getting scared of us citizens yet?

As I posted in my no 43, finding the minority owner of record is not always easy. Find the original application for SBA 8(a) qualification or one of the Federal RFP’s for which SecTek submitted a bid. My moneys on the elusive Edward Rhoades sometimes listed as president,

And if it’s for ‘short bus’ quals., it doesn’t seem to affect their ability to snag quite a few lucrative contracts.

With Federal contracts remember the winning bid is not the total money or project/service cost.

Maybe so, but it looks to me like the dickhead has his other hand on his gun.

Doesn't just look like it...He definitely has his right hand on his weapon and the look on his face looks like he hopes he gets a chance to use it...

I’d bet the “minority owner of record” is just a shill, and and the deal was done before they even accepted the bids.
