Once you finally make it into HealthCare.gov, its not clear how you get out.
For those whove busted through glitches on the federal Obamacare insurance website to create an account, theres no clear, obvious way for consumers to delete the accounts if they choose at least not in the current incarnation
A POLITICO reporter used HealthCare.govs customer support chat to request that an account be removed, but the support agent said the request would have to be referred to an advanced customer service system.
The option to delete account information has become a staple of online services, from Facebook to Amazon. But HealthCare.gov isnt a private-sector business transaction. And on the federal health insurance portal, people for at least the next few weeks will have to create a basic account even to browse health plan options. That doesnt require all the personal and financial information that would be added to actually enroll in a health plan or seek government subsidies.
Obama administration officials declined to discuss specifics of any delete policy but a Department of Health and Human Services spokeswoman did address privacy. We take privacy concerns very seriously and have put in place measures to protect consumers personal information, said HHS spokeswoman Joanne Peters. We have a long track record of working with sensitive information in programs like Medicare and Medicaid.
Privacy and tech experts had mixed reactions to the delete gap.
You dont want that information persisting on the website, especially when its clear youre no longer interested in creating the account, said Chris Rasmussen, policy analyst at the Center for Democracy & Technology.

Once you get into ACA website, its hard to get out
Close, but no cigar.
In reality, when you get into the Affordable Health Care SYSTEM, it will be very hard to get out.
That was the plan.
And you WILL want to get out.
That was part of the plan too.

Hearing aids would be quite appropriate for that age group. We tried to tell them that Obama would be a disaster but they didn't hear us.
Once people willingly reject unalienable rights granted by their Creator, in *exchange* for Obamacare, it's over.
President Obama removes "Creator" from the Declaration of Independence
Now we know why.

Turn off your power strip.
It would be great if we could turn off the power strip for ACA.
In reality, it will be ACA pulling the plug on us when we need seriously need critical, life saving health care.

What they should do is call Axelrod in Chicago and beg that he delete your account realizing that he will delete the account from potential donors database and add it to the political/IRS enemies database.

Eagles - Hotel California Lyrics-—You can check out any time you like, But you can never leave!’
Mirrors on the ceiling,
The pink champagne on ice
And she said, ‘we are all just prisoners here, of our own device’
And in the master’s chambers,
They gathered for the feast
They stab it with their steely knives,
But they just can’t kill the beast
Last thing I remember, I was
Running for the door
I had to find the passage back to the place I was before
‘Relax’ said the night man,
‘We are programmed to receive.
You can check out any time you like,
But you can never leave!’
