Christmas concerts should celebrate Christ’s birth. If that is no longer possible in this anti-Christian country, then have Winter Concert that has only secular music. This school district issued an edict that the choir had to sing 5 secular songs for every “religious” carol. So much for “balance.”
It’s time Christians everywhere establish their own schools while they still can. The godless Left has taken over the government schools.
It is insane that we even got to this point.
Recall/vote out the school board..they are idiots..

My sons were both in honors choir in the 90s. They sang sacred music but only if it was in another language like latin or french or even hebrew. No limit on how much or whether X number of secular songs were included. It annoyed me at the time but at least they were singing quality music and for the most part, staying out of trouble. One of them was in a wonderful production of Godspell and sort of accidentally, it was produced during Holy Week. He cast this talented Jewish kid named Joshua as Jesus. It was sort of fun to tell his parents that Joshua was the same name as Jesus.

Agreed. I guess Christmas music is really harmful to Muslim’s and athiest’s ears. So I guess we can protest Latino or African American oriented music too? Boy people are such crybabies nowadays. If I were the mayor I’d hand out a bottle of milk, a pacifier, and diapers to anyone that came to my office complaining about that crap. Then I’d tell them to go find a job.
