Republican congressman goes ballistic on Ted Cruz - "We have to cut this guy off now"

Appearing on MSNBC on Friday, Congressman Peter King continued his epic verbal assault on Ted Cruz — and, to a lesser extent, Rand Paul — by describing the Texas Senator as a “RINO” (Republican in name only) and a “fraud.”

Speaking with MSNBC’s Andrea Mitchell, King called the ongoing government shutdown “the strategy of Ted Cruz” and wondered aloud “why more Republicans around the country didn’t join me in denouncing Ted Cruz” before the shutdown began. “We cannot allow our party to be taken over by the likes of Ted Cruz and Rand Paul,” King continued, describing Cruz and Paul as “isolationists” and “RINOs” who “don’t represent traditional Republican principles.”

The part he is kissing is not the ring. I might add the Muslim ring Obama wears.

If you remove the party affiliation from these news articles, you can’t tell which party they belong to. All are opposite sides of the same face.

Republican= Big Government (Military & Corporate Welfare)
Democrat = BIGGER Government (Cronyism & Social Welfare to buy votes)!
Same Difference.....

I agree. Any time a Republican comes out of the Northeast it will be a Rino. There are no little r republicans in the northeast. Romney same as Bush, yes Bush. He is from Connecticut, I don’t care how big a hat you put on him.

Thank God you mentioned that! I get so freaking tired of Bush getting away with being called a Texan!

He was a damn yankee playing cowboy to fool the low in formation voters.

Heck, he bought that ranch in Crawford less than 6 months before the presidential race.

Old line repubbies like King, McCain and Graham reserve their real hate for reform minded republicans, not democrats.

They fear men like Cruz because he proposes policies that will destroy the system that keeps these parasitic hogs, republican and democrat, fat and happy.

They treat themselves like royalty while they suck the lifeblood from the nation and the few taxpayers they haven’t already skinned alive.

The only problem republicans like King have with democrats is that they want to move democrats out of the way so they get first shot at the graft and loot.

But they hate Cruz because he wants to topple the entire corrupt Good-Old-Boy system.

If Senate Republicans wanted to have the power of the purse, then they should have run for a House seat.

Peter King is so much a Rino that he thinks that what republican is. Obviously, he’s forgotten Ronald Reagan.

He also doesn’t have a clue that the House is supposed to control out-of-control credit card spending. Apparently, Peter King just wants to let them spend until the nation falls.

Not only does he have a bad definition of “rino”, but he doesn’t understand the definition of “patriot” either.

He wants a higher office and he will never get one. It drives him crazy that the heartland loves Ted Cruz.

He represents the area where I used to live. Didn’t get any better because I’m now in MA.

If we were smart, we in middle America would dump tons of cash on Cruz and push him to the top. Washington needs to have an Andrew Jackson moment.

“RINOS like King are our problem.
And of course the LSM, carrying their water.”

Yup. . .the LSM fawn and luv him as long as he is attacking the party but as soon as he runs again for office, you can bet the LSM will attack him without mercy (endorsing the RAT party candidate). . .much like they did to McLame when he ran for president, all luvs-and-hugs before the campaign but as soon as he was on the ticket for president, he was vilified.

Salon loves this kind of story and that tells us a lot about Peter King.

Wow, King has become such a RINO, that he is engaging in the classic liberal behavior: projection. Lying to himself and accusing someone else of being or doing exactly what he is.
