Obama, Boehner negotiations at a stand still (Obama rejects deal)

Talks between House Speaker John Boehner and President Barack Obama over the government shutdown and looming debt limit deadline have hit a brick wall.

Boehner relayed the news to his Republican caucus during a Saturday morning meeting after a night of work where little progress was made. Republican Rep. Paul Labrador of Idaho emerged from the meeting, telling CNN that "the President rejected our deal."

The standstill has decreased the possibility that the House would vote to reopen the government this weekend and while leadership would remain in Washington to work on a proposal, rank-and-file members might return to their districts until Monday afternoon.

“Some conservatives — like tea party favorite Sen. Ted Cruz of Texas — left the meeting upset at Obama for continuing to insist the government must reopen and the debt ceiling must be increased before he would take part in full-fledged negotiations on deficit reduction.”

Unless the Republicans totally capitulate to Pres Stompy Foot there shall be no agreement.

Keep the government shut down.

Good news. Might wake Boehner up to reality, tone his hyperactive surrender reflex down a bit, or frustrate him so that he steps down.

No room in this revolution for men without balls.

Once the Marxists have seized power it is not easy to get them out with just ‘words’. Other means will be necessary.

Boehner tells House GOP negotiations have ended

http://www.washingtonpost.com/politics/boehner-tells-house-gop-negotiations-have-ended/2013/10/12/fa0d3f42-334a-11e3-9c68-1cf643210300_story.html

“House Republicans were told by Speaker John Boehner Saturday morning that negotiations between the House GOP and President Obama have ended, with Obama’s rejection Friday of the House’s latest offer.

At a closed door meeting in the basement of the Capitol, Boehner urged members to hold firm, several said, even as Senate Republicans work to negotiate their own proposal to end the impasse. “

The only think Obama will accept is total capitulation — I hope Republicans won’t cave, because in the meantime Obama’s approval is going down too — 37% is nothing to write home about.

STAND FIRM....
Get in front of every camera you can find and put the blame where it lies, with Obama. The media will eventually be forced to admit it.

CALL YOUR CONGRESSMAN/SENATOR and tell them that you support them.

They are being BOMBED by the left with calls, emails. and tweets.

Barry has rejected it because he knows he is close to getting complete capitulation from the GOP as usual.

Obama wants the debt crisis for two reasons: First it will be used to pillory the Republicans as the cause...the MSM is salivating at the prospect as are Obama thugs. Second, true to Alinsky’s rules, Obama will use the crisis to seize more power...likely by unilaterally and unconstitutionally raising spending limits himself and making Congress irrelevant for any spending limits. With no spending restraints and an impotent Congress Obama is on his way to becoming dictator.

The dumbass republicans in Washington just don't get it. The left uses Alinski tactics to get what they want. The republicans should know that by now.

“Power is not only what you have, but what the enemy THINKS you have."

The American people hate obomacare. They hate the national debt. They hate being used as slaves so the democrat base doesn't have to get out of bed in the morning to go to their own jobs.
Instead of listing to the tax slaves - those forced to pay for it all - the republicans think the lazy do nothings have all the power. They don't. The suffering middle class has all the power, and together all the votes and the funding. Speak for them (support the Tea Party) - the tax slaves - and the republicans could hold power for generations.

If they were to speak up for those who are being abused by an over bloated and oppressive government - the working people - the nation would rally by their side.
