The heartening thing was that 11 of the 17 states affected are solid blue obama states. The twitter meltdown was encouraging, even though twitter was full of ‘computer problem’ informational tweets the low info ebt users tweets of ‘yo obama shut the food stamps down yo’ were priceless.

The thing that really torques me off is that all the food stamp groupies are getting a $100 bonus in their account to make up for today’s “inconvenience”. WE’RE PAYING FOR IT!!!

We supply the food, any money they may make working or hustling goes for drugs. We are enablers.

As far as buying alcohol.. I witnessed this 2 wks ago.
Woman in front of me in grocery checkout line whips out her EBT card, buys a pack of gum. The cashier hands her back numerous bills. Don't know the mechanics. All I know is the woman 'cashed' her EBT and the cashier had a disgusted look on her face.
