Pathetic what passes as journalism these days.
There is hope.
This article is a classic example of projection in action. The Democrats crafted Obamacare precisely to do what the author describes. Obamacare provides a benefit for Democrat constituents at the expense of Republican constituents. Democrats are masters at getting their political opponents to pay for the programs and policies that strengthen their political power.
Obamacare is about political power. The health care part is just the means of achieving it.
I noticed the writer of this article did not mention one single reason why people oppose Obamacare.
His thesis is that republicans only oppose it because the people who already have health insurance outnumber those who don’t - i.e. the republicans and all those who oppose Obamacare are cold, heartless, “we’ve got ours” rich jerks who could care less about anyone else.
Not once did the writer quote anyone opposing it as to WHY they were opposing it - not even an out of context quote.
