Immigrant-rights protesters have chained themselves in front of an detention facility in Eloy, Ariz., and planned to blockade the main federal immigration office in Phoenix later Monday, hoping to stop anyone from being deported.
The moves are the latest act of civil disobedience from activists who are demanding the Obama administration halt all deportations. Among the protesters were illegal immigrants.
“Undocumented — unafraid,” the protesters chanted as they blocked the road at the facility Monday morning, which is southeast of Phoenix and is one of the busiest detention locations in the country.
The protesters aired their action in a webcast.
While activists have demanded action from Republicans in Congress, they are increasingly critical of President Obama over his record of deportations. Under his watch, immigration authorities have set records by deporting about 400,000 immigrants a year.

These were the tactics of the 60's and 70's anti war gang. At a point it becomes impossible to arrest them all. We Freepers should remember that to use in the days to come.
It would seem to me that chaining themselves together only makes it easier. You just get a crane and lift them all up at once.
My first thought when I read that was how very convenient-just grab all the chains with an illegal on the other end of them, put them into la migra’s green van and voila-instant, cheap deportation...

Moonbeam Brown of Cali fame is giving the illegals bloody LICENSES to DRIVE and at the same time instructing all governmental agencies to ignore the status of anyone they deal with and refuse to comply with Federal law demanding deportations -and honoring "sanctuary city" positions.
I am also given to understand that the Border Patrol is being ordered to release almost all the border jumpers they apprehend with a promise-to-appear note, so as to appease the racist LawdRaza fanatics.
Illegals have all the "rights", while we citizens are merely revenue-sources to the various government agencies.
What happens when you reward bad behavior?

A few days chained together in the Arizona sun will do them wonders.
Deport all of them and their chains... make them swim the Rio Grande with those chains in place!
When you cannot arrest them all... remember the Chicago dim convention in 1968... YEAH BUDDY!

No surprise there. I've said for years that ICE can't find an illegal in a Mexican protest parade and now they can't find an illegal holding a sign identifying himself as "undocumented" at a protest 10 feet from the agency's front door. Now that's one agency that should be furloughed, and not paid later, for all the good it does.
Yep, thing that really fries me is when they know it’s an illegal and just ignore the fact.
So what’s the problem hook the biggest guy to a bumper and drag the rest back over the border problem solved.
Give them 2 minutes to leave, and then break out the chain saws.
