Booker, 44, will become the Senate's seventh youngest member, and its ninth-ever African American and only the fourth black senator ever popularly elected. Even before winning the race, he was widely seen as a potential vice presidential contender as soon as 2016, though his credentials took a hit when the race turned out far closer than many expected.

With nearly all of the vote counted, Booker led Republican Steve Lonegan by about 10 percentage points - a convincing margin in most races, but much smaller than many had predicted for a rising star facing an underfunded opponent with views out of step with New Jersey's liberal leanings.

Between $9,000 property tax bills for a crap house, the highest car insurance rates in the country, Odingo care about to crush unions, and senior citizens being sent to death panels to cap social security payouts, New Joisey is a real utopia for all.

Nathan Bedford's first Maxim of American politics: all politics in America is not local but ultimately racial.

The leeches in the cities are excited at the prospect of having the pipeline to more government freebies open a little wider with the election of Obama’s puppet to the Senate.

HollyWeed stuffs another pretender into the Senate.

There is a reason the Capitol is a laughingstock.

The was trash on the sides of the highway. It’s like there is no care about how it looks. It’s a filthy town.

Sounds like Chi-Congo's Souf Side after years of Obama's "community organizing." Those animals have no pride in their surroundings.

what i find really interesting is that, of nine blacks to have served in the senate, only 44% have been popularly elected to the office:

“its ninth-ever African American and only the fourth black senator ever popularly elected.”

The date of Booker’s swearing-in has not been set but is expected before Nov. 5, according to GOP Gov. Chris Christie’s office.

I am convinced that if the Devil ran as a Democrat and God ran as a Republican, Satan would be President.

So the country gets another liar, cheat and crook in the Senate. Elected for life term and hopefully will not run for any higher office.

So are the dems planning to run him against Hitlery in the primaries?

A very interesting question. I've been told that Booker's "mini me" DeVal Patrick is a member of the Clinton Crime Family so he's probably out.

Does Booker have a connection to the Chicago mob? He certainly fits the mold for a Baraq Part II.

Yeah because the “old white men” who built this country did such a lousy job creating the most powerful, and once prosperous, nation in the world that we need to keep electing more and more black leaders so the low information voters and rabid democrats can “feel good” about themselves. Yet they will sit and watch her burn.

The polls in New Jersey currently show Governor Chris Christie up by 28 points over his Democrat opponent.
Booker is being mentioned as a potential Hillary Clinton running mate.
