Madison cancels meet and greet with domestic terrorist Ayers

MADISON — Like a Taliban speed dating luncheon, a scheduled meet-and-greet in Madison for domestic terrorist Bill Ayers has been cancelled due to lack of demand.

A staffer at the Madison Public Library Foundation, which had scheduled the event, told Wisconsin Reporter they “didn’t have the kind of interest” they thought they’d get, so they nixed the hour long event.

Madisonians are just not that into domestic terrorist Bill Ayers. A private meet and greet with Ayers has been cancelled due to low ticket sales.

Tickets were $25 a pop.

Fans of Ayers or pathology can still come out and see the co-founder of the Weather Underground, a group of communist revolutionaries that bombed the New York City Police Headquarters, the U.S. Capitol and the Pentagon in the 1970s in protest of the Vietnam War.

He will speak at 7 p.m. Thursday night at the Overture Center in downtown Madison to plug his new book “Public Enemy.” That speech is free and open to the public.

In a 2008 New York Times revisionist history op-ed , Ayers denied he engaged in acts of terrorism.

“Peaceful protests had failed to stop the war. So we issued a screaming response. But it was not terrorism; we were not engaged in a campaign to kill and injure people indiscriminately, spreading fear and suffering for political ends,” he wrote.

Larry Grathwohl, the FBI informant who infiltrated Weather Underground, said that’s a load of hooey. After describing failed Weather Underground bomb plots that would have caused mass casualties, he wrote: “Bill, like Charles Manson, never exposed himself to any kind of danger. He always gave orders and then left it to his then-girlfriend, Diane Oughton, and others to implement his plan. If you listen closely you can even hear the similarities in the arguments Manson and Billy use today to justify what they did: the 60s made me do it.”

Ayers and President Barack Obama were linked together in the 2008 presidential campaign when Sarah Palin famously accused Obama of “palling around with terrorists.”

Ayers and Obama have denied having a substantive relationship with each other. In his new book, Ayers wrote:

“Bernadine and I had hosted the initial fundraiser for Obama and uncharacteristically donated a little money to his campaign,” Ayers said. “We lived a few blocks apart and sat on a couple nonprofit boards together. So what? Who could have predicted it would blow up like this?”

He was not that close to Obama? Official White House visitor logs show that he visited the White house during the First 6 months of Obama’s first term. Noticed they failed to mention that little factoid. If I’m not mistaken him and his wife visited at least once subsequently. Not to mention their direct involvement in the “Gaza Flotilla” and the “Arab Spring”. They were both on the ground in Cairo.

Just like Leon Trotsky (Lev Davidovich Bronshtein), Bill Ayers is “Always the bridesmaid, never the bride.”

The point is not whether or not obama and ayers were friends; the point is they shared political philosophies. That they served on boards together shows that they thought alike...communistically.

In the last few years he refused to swear off carrying out more terrorist attacks. And this trash is who Obama is tied to at the hip.

No wonder Obama has no problem helping Al Qaeda in Syria. Birds of a feather...

Just seeing that mug shot makes the hair on the back of my neck stand up.

That little prick and his buddies were stone terrorists, made threats to people across the country and left a trail of dead and maimed in their wake.

Guy should have been hung by his balls. That he walks the streets a free man is a travesty of justice to those he hurt.

There is also a very good argument that it was Bill Ayres that penned the two “autobiographies” of the Great Won, since Obama can’t write a lick.

Since our President Obama is in charge, Ayers close friend. I can’t understand why they would not want to meet with this terrorist? If you want to know your enemy, know his friends. Folks might get to know Obama much better with his knowledge.

Nobody wanted to see Gramps Ayers. The old reprobate who lies about his age because he thinks he might still be able to get a co-ed.

"Lack of demand", my foot.

They probably received tons of threats the place would be blown to smithereens if they allowed that commie radical to even set foot in the place.

Well, I may be a little exaggerative in my opinion, but you get my drift.

Let's hope he finishes up the same way.
