The Democratic National Committee has narrowly edged its Republican rival in fundraising for the first time all year.
In a Sunday release, the Republican National Committee reported raising $7.1 million in September. Democrats on Friday reported a cash haul of nearly $7.4 million in September, while finishing the month with more than $5 million on hand.

Meanwhile the RNC has been ahead in fund-raising for months and not a peep from Politico.
Doesn’t surprise me after the DC GOP said phuque you “our base”
The problem with this is, all of the money being sent to the commie ‘RATS was stolen from Republicans by the Obama regime and given to the commie ‘RATS.
The rnc can get their $$$ from the sauds. That’s whom they represent anyway!
The thing is, there were these horror headlines
“DNC HAS BEST FINDRAISING EVER!”
Yet when you compare the two, they really didn’t do that much better.
The DNC and RNC are losing relevance anyway. The real cash is all out there in SUPERPACs and I suspect we lead in that regard. How many progtard PACS can you name?
OFA is a PAC I believe.
There’s SorosPAC.
What else?
Why does the RNC lag slightly. I don’t know, maybe its because conservatives realize they aren’t looking out for us and we donate to candidates themselves, and real organizations like the SCF.
If the RNC would stop being the lapdog of the GOPe, they might find themselves with more support.
As it is I’m not sending one thin dime to the RNC when they funnel money to the RINO traitors.
I haven’t given to the GOP since the day Sarah Palin was put on the ticket. That was my last donation. Since then it has been all directly to the candidate or to Tea Party/FR causes.
No one should be donating to the RNC, unless you want the RINOs in Congress to beat your TEA party candidates in the primary. Sending money to the RNC is like funding your own lynching.
The refusal of our elected to impose true campaign finance controls on themselves is the greatest failing of our political system. they can not serve two masters, the voters and their money sources. Then they corrupt the media because that is where all that money goes to get elected.
If you send money to the RNC you’re an idiot.
I love it when they call.
Byran Tau should probably have titled the article, DNC edges RNC RINOs in September fundraising.
If such is the case, then maybe patriots are wising up and learning not to feed the RINOs.
Don’t read too much into it. The DNC knows how to report or even hold back fundraising until it counts, in order to post these findings.
What they cannot do is work the internet news and interactive newsmedia like the conservatives do. and they never will, because it is not conducive to lying and corruption and communication sans teleprompter. all things conservatives and constitutional government have no use for.
Take heart, kids. It’s just starting.
:)
I wouldn’t know. I quit as soon as I called McCain’s office to complain how demoralizing it was at the Base the day Clinton was acquitted by the senate and got wind from a staffer raising funds for McCain’s campaign for prez.
That was 1998.
Duh.
But I regret it. I would love to ‘love it when they call’
The RNC can pound sand where the sun don’t shine.
Maybe the debt ceiling *deal* financed all of the progressives (left and right) campaigns - $$$'s flowing in, now :)
The RNC and its establishment RINOs (Rove, Tom Davis, the Chamber of Commerce)are planning now how to knock off Tea-Party supported incumbents in next year’s primaries.
Who wants to give up their hard earned dollars for that?
I got the call a few days before the latest cave in. I said I donate directly to those who I support and PACs like The Guardian Fund but if you stand firm and win this Obamascare battle and the debt ceiling then by all means, give me a call.
If you fold like cheap suits again and sell out the conservative base then never call my f#ck!ng number again and I will use all your postage paid return mail with as much dead weight as I can.
I don’t imagine I will be hearing from them anytime soon.
