Katherine Timpf reports for Campus Reform that a University of Georgia ecology professor Amy Rosemond blamed tyrannical conservative terrorists for the recent federal government shut down.
While speaking at a rally shed organized outside of Rep. Paul Brouns (R-GA) office on Oct. 11, 2013, Rosemond told the Athens Banner-Herald that conservatives are guilty of tyranny for holding the government hostage during the budget negotiations.
She said, For the next generation, weve got to stand again acts of tyranny, where our government is held hostage for negotiations. One thing weve learning in our democracy is that we cant negotiate with terrorists.
Four days later on Oct. 15, in an interview with Campus Reform, Rosemond regretted her use of the word terrorist but still insisted that conservatives had held the U.S. government hostage.
She said, I do regret using the word terrorist, because I do not consider anyone a terrorist here, but its this action of holding the government functioning through the spending bill hostage as part of trying to gain something politically. Hostage is the term that could be, to link those concepts.

A people search on the net found that the only Amy Rosemond who lives in Georgia is a 52-year-old woman who lives in Bogart, GA, which is a 19-mins drive from the U. of Georgia in Athens, GA.
(Richard L. Rosemond, MD)
Curiously, Spokeo identifies both Amy Rosemond and her husband, 53-year-old Richard L. Rosemond, as African-American in ethnicity. But you can see from their respective photos that they sure dont look black! (Spokeo obtains its information from public records.)
Richard Lynn Rosemond is an M.D. and obstetrician/gynecologist whose primary place of work is Athens Maternal Fetal Medicine in Athens, GA.
On a hunch, I did an Internet search for Richard Rosemond abortion.
SURPRISE! (not)
The website lifescript.com identifies Richard Rosemond as one of the doctors in Athens, GA, who treat or diagnose abortion.
My message to Amy Rosemond:
She who lives in a glass blood-spattered house really should refrain from throwing stones.

Some get what they pray, these should get what they curse.
Well, just look at Fauxahauntus, er, Senator Elizabeth Warren in Massachusetts...
How else do you get a nice, cushy, tenured, never-ever-gonna-be-fired, make-a-ton-of-money, screwing-the-kids-by-continuously-raising-tuition, so-what-if-them-kids-are-saddled-with-debt-for-the-rest-of-their-lives job at a university?
Lie.
African-American? How many qualifying points is that worth?

You didn’t need to add crazy to describe a leftist, female professor. Virtually every leftist professor, male or female, is mentally disturbed.
I think it was Dave Gardner who coined the phrase, “educated beyond her intelligence”.
We have to deal with tyrannical liberal idiots who think they’re authoritarians. The fight has just started.
You have to wonder what is in the mind of a woman whose husband kills little babies for a living.
When he comes home from work does she ask, “How many children did you murder today , dear.”
And she calls me a terrorist.
Educated beyond her intelligence.
Typical extremist Leftist name calling, without a shred of anything resembling an argument.
GA FReeper ping.
“Ecology professor” says it all. Another watermelon Green.
This is what Tea Party supporters get in return for being the financial support of government and this university. Tea Party people are polite, respectful, and unfailingly dedicated to the rule of law.
The left spews hate and vitriol with corrosive persistence. I have met a few folks from the U of Georgia and have found them extreme left and typical of this professor.
Perhaps they can be asked what they think of the latest news out of France. It seems young French college students are running for the exits. However, France is a model of the kind of system this U of Georgia professor lionizes.
>>Amy Rosemond is an associate professor of Ecology (which means she probably has tenure).
I believe assistant professor means tenure, associate does not.
I sure hope so, in this case.
Never mind, I had it wrong. It has been a long time since I had to deal with academe much.
Ugggh. She probably does have tenure.
This is where the GOP lacks not only balls but brains. Why they don't pick up on this and run with it is beyond my comprehension.
The GOP will never come put on top unless they fight on the PR front. Nice guys might finish last, but losers never fight.
I'm wondering how many people on the left are listing themselves as a minority to take advantage of Affirmative Action? We have blond haired blue eyed people claiming they're native American, and now people who look more Jewish than African American. What's going on?
These people exist by parasitizing the hardworking taxpaying citizens of GA. They couldn't get a job in the private sector that pays a fourth of what they haul down in the plush sinecures as part of the government educational hegemony. CONSERVATIVES TERRIFY THEM. THEY ARE TERRIFIED OF LOSING THEIR PLACE AT THE PUBLIC TROUGH. Conservatives don't want to fund envirobs, globull warming, etc. Their fear is the fear of a parasite losing the host.
Warren’s tribal name is Sackofjewayah.
