We need your continuing support to keep FR going strong. With Obama pulling out all the stops in fundamentally transforming America from a free country to a communist state (and the GOP-e stepping aside for him), we're going to need FR NOW more than ever!!
FR is funded solely by the donations made by the people who love and use it. We sell no advertising or merchandise. We have no corporate sponsors or sugar daddies and accept no government subsidies. This means no annoying commercial ads or ad tracking and no pop ups!! And no outside influences to pressure or sway or control us. It's just us freedom-loving grassroots conservatives using and funding one of our favorite and most useful news and activism organizations.
FreeRepublic.com - Defending God, life, family, country on the Net since 1996!
Thank you all very much for your continuing support!! Your loyal support keeps FR alive and is greatly appreciated.

Make it a monthly if you can. We have some very generous FReeper sponsors who are donating an extra $10 for each new monthly donor signed up. We now have 31 new monthly donors signed up this quarter, including 7 new Dollar-a-Day Donors!! Thank you very much, monthly donors and new monthly sponsors!!
And we have over ninety-five donations this quarter of $100 or more!! FReeper I_be_tc donates $100 per quarter and challenges 300 other FReepers to do the same. If you donate $100 or more per quarter, please let me know and we'll add your name to the "300 Club Roster!" If we can get 300 members sending in a $100 or more per quarter, these fundraisers would run much faster.
And thank you all very much for your continuing prayers!! I am now recovering very nicely from surgery in a rehab facility where the physical therapists are training me to get around without my legs. And we're making great progress. Getting better each day on transferring myself to and from chair. Looking forward to going home soon.
Thank you all very much for your prayers and support!!
God bless.
Awwwww .... thank you.
Use both for her. You can see that the Lorikeets are very sweet!
Yup. That about does it!
All of my dogs were shelter dogs and absolute lovebugs. Andra had been shot and left to die at the side of a rural road. She was always at my feet. I wouldn’t get any other kind of doggie.
I’ve already seen so many I would LOVE to bring home. I’m sure I’ll bring home at least two, on my my next visit... lol.
Love that sign, it’s absolutely true.
Hubby had the day off so I went to the store since I had the car. I stopped at the shelter. There was ONE white dog with liver spots. She just sat quietly looking at me. All the dogs were about 50lbs. The others were throwing themselves against the cage doors. She looked so sad. I said that I'd take her. I was told she was scheduled to be euthanized the next day. She'd already had 3 stays of execution.
I didn't have a leash or collar as I hadn't really intended to get a dog. They made a loop in a leash and I put her in my car. I parked outside the garage door at home and got her out. When I tried to lead her in front of the car to go inside she slipped out of the leash and ran. I followed and she ran father.
I ran in the house and told Hubby that our dog ran away and he had to come help me. He said, "We don't have a dog." I said, "No. We don't. It ran away".
He didn't seem to want to help so I went back outside and she walked toward me. I took a few steps toward the front door instead of the garage and she followed. So I kept walking and she kept following...........right in the door.
SO SWEET! And from then on, she never left your side, right?
They can keep each other company. :-)
