Dems caught in Obamacare uproar

It’s not the GOP that President Barack Obama has to worry about in defending his botched health care rollout; it’s fellow Democrats.

They voted for the law, sang its praises for three-plus years and still believe in the promise of health care reform. But now they face a conundrum: stay in lock step with Obama and risk their credibility as advocates for the law’s benefits or publicly criticize the administration for its recent problems—especially a failure to more quickly acknowledge, and rectify, the major malfunction of its Internet marketplace.

It’s a particularly vexing question for Democrats worried about their party’s chances in the 2014 midterm elections, and, increasingly, they’re opting for the latter strategy. …

Democrat politicians are NOT going to denounce their exemptions from CronyCommunismCare.

They may get permission to gripe about it, especially if they live in marginal districts, but they sure as hell aren’t going to get permission to actually do anything about it beyond a handful of token votes. The Lords of the privy seal will see to that.

I love the spin language. "Caught."

Why I was just tryin' to do the Lawd's work, helpin' the common folk get their health in-sure-ance.

An' all of a sudden, why... I find myself "caught in the uproar!" What's a body to do, I ask you?

Dems must admit their king is a fool, and so are they for believing in him and his folly.

I do see a way to expedite this thing. Make Congress and the Executive use it exclusively. If it’s so great there wouldn’t be any problem with that, right?

It is heavily and squarely round their necks. We can relieve them of the burden by removing them from office.

Coming soon to an MSM (aka propaganda wing of the DNC) outlet near you: “How Obamacare is really the Republican’s fault.” A story of how mean spirited racist Republicans willed Obamacare toward failure by opposing it. If they had only gone along things would have rolled out smoothly.

Starring: John McCain as the Manchurian Senator who will somewhere, somehow fully validate whatever twisted logic the DNC crafts to blame Republicans, Mitch McConnell as the Coward who will sit in silence as he wets his depends, John Boehner as the Emotional Speaker of the House who will cry his eyes out as he is overwhelmed by the moment, every other Senate Republican who will take turns screaming at Ted Cruz for not just going along with it all and Harry Reid, as the dirty bastard who runs the prison camp where the Senate Republicans are held.

Directed by, the Beltway Intelligencia who just know better than you hick ass crackers.

Produced by, THE ONE!!

Believed by: the low information sheeple of the United States who just want Santa Claus everyday of the year and to be able to watch their Jon Stewart without interruption.

This show is rated TV P for pathetic and predictable. Warning, extreme hurling may ensue.

"Obama will discuss the rollout Monday morning in the Rose Garden, and “directly address the technical problems with HealthCare.gov,” a White House official said. "

It's not my fault and just demonstrates the need for fundamental change that I'm working to provide..

Overall the Shut Down affected few people and it will not harm the GOP long term. BUt Obamacare is a specter that will haunt them until it is destroyed or replaced.

The really sad thing is, SOME of them, and MOST of their constituents, believed and STILL believe that this is supposed to help people.

It should not affect short term or long term. The House passed a bill that was to keep government open. Are you taking into consideration that the dems will keep this "blame republicans for the post-shutdown economy" we'll be hearing from now until the last day of Obama's stay in the White House?

You see, the shutdown should not affect the GOP short term let alone long term.

These dems still blame Bush for their problems. If their PR machine cannot work short term then why would anybody think it will work against the dems long term.

This is like GOP-E’ers denouncing Obamacare. The dems see it as a purely political problems, having nothing to do with the fact that OCare will destroy America.

ObamaCare should never have been released to the public until it had been tested on politicians first.

I for one was wondering why the GOP would want to show down this train wreck.

I had asked this a while ago on another thread. At what point do the "red state" Democrats up for reelection in 2014 break ranks with Obama on Obamacare?

It looks like it's starting to happen. I hope they go down to defeat.

Almost makes you wonder if Republicans have actually planned it this way. Take the short fall, allow Dems to take 100% of the responsibility for a debaucle everyone KNOWS will fail . . . then swoop in at an opportune time and offer reasonable alternatives. You never know.

The best strategy for the LIBs/DIMs/RINOs is to turn themselves into the nearest prison and start serving their sentences. Criminals all.
