I am not so sure of that. The only thing keeping the US economy afloat is the Saudis pricing oil in dollars. Should the Saudi decide to change that we are in deep dodo.

We aren’t and never have been mercenaries for the Sauds.

There are times when our national and strategic interests are the same and times when they differ.
