Chief Weasel Roberts either rules the way Obama wants, or bad things will happen to his family. It’s the Chicago way.

Meh. John Roberts will again pull something out of his ass to affirm the law.

This is meat n' potatos Con 101.

If the language of the law specifically prohibits the government from enforcing the law in those states that did not set up their own exchanges, then it is a violation of the Separation of Powers.

The Supremes would likely go for a 9-0 shutout against Obama - just like it did [8-0, one recusal] in United States v. Nixon during Watergate.

Both of these cases go to the basic principles of our government. The Supremes will not allow a President to enforce his own guidelines beyond what is written into law. The Supremes have, however, allowed the President latitude in enforcing the law [eg: immigration] through prosecutorial discretion.

If the President wants to extend provisions of the ACA to cover states that are not entitled to it - Congress will have to revise the law ...
