Chucky Schmucky wasn't lying. See for yourself. Or do your own research. McConnell is a sellout.
"Senate minority leader Mitch McConnell has floated a proposal for a couple years now as a last-chance way to avert a crisis and allow the president to raise the debt ceiling without congressional approval, with Congress having the ability to strip that authority with a two-thirds veto and thats sort of what the bill to be voted on tonight provides for (see pages 24 ff. of the bill)."
So, are you saying that the President DOES get to name the “debt ceiling” he wants — now and forever?
No?
So, aren’t you saying that the “sell-out” you referenced was NOT a “sell-out”, in fact?
Gee, maybe that non-existant “sell-out” explains why SCHUMER was so angry at McConnell that he was willing to lie about McConnell. (OK... OK... Schmucky is ALWAYS willing to lie.)
But why would anyone with an IQ above a Weiner’s IQ BELIEVE Chucky’s self-serving lies?
I suppose that the fairy-tale of a McConnell “sell-out” polled well among the Daily Kos types employed by the Spite House, so I suppose they will try to use that fairy-tale to snatch a safe Republican Senate seat for the Democrats.
Please don’t bother telling me that MSNBC shares your “interpretation”... I’m sure they do.
