The Worst Is Yet To Come (The Warning Must Be Heeded)

Democrats have only one goal to accomplish between now and the 2014 elections: To paint Republicans as the bad guys. In doing so, they'll win the 2014 elections, gain control of the House of Representatives, and as President Reagan once said, the rest of us will be spending "our sunset years telling our children...what it once was like in America when men were free."

Democrats are off to a good start; great, really. They, along with their willing accomplices in the media, propagated a lie by suggesting Republicans are responsible for the partial government shutdown. So far, it has worked and Democrats are hoping to cash that check on election night next year.

Unable to help himself, Obama held a victory press conference and used the opportunity to belittle the Republican Party over "manufactured crises" and "repeated brinkmanship" to "undermine our economy." If you missed the speech, you can read it online at: http://tinyurl.com/keemmsc.

So, here's truth: The president's and his party's own brinkmanship is responsible for the shutdown because they refused to compromise. According to USA Today, during an October 3 appearance in Rockville, Maryland, Obama threatened the U.S. might default on its debt: "As reckless as a government shutdown is...an economic shutdown that results from default would be dramatically worse... Default would be the result if Congress does not increase the debt ceiling by October 17."

He also hurled threat bombs that the U.S. "would see its credit rating drop;" interest rates would rise which would "curb economic activity across the world;" we'd see "falling pensions and home values and rising interest rates on things like mortgages and student loans...putting us back into a bad recession..."

The toothless lion roared and then the stock markets tanked.

So why did he do it? Because he thinks it'll help his party win, and because the Republican establishment makes for an easy target. Obama is like the kid in the back of the class with a gas problem. Then, when everyone notices the smell, succeeds in blaming it on the innocent kid two rows over. There is a stench rising over Washington and Obama simply points in the direction of the GOP and smiles.

During his October 17 speech, Obama said Republicans' actions caused: "more damage to America's credibility in the world" which "encouraged our enemies...emboldened our competitors, and...depressed our friends..." In reality, Democrats' actions caused these things to happen and no one called them out on it.

It comes as no surprise though, because most of mainstream media's so-called "journalists" lack the intestinal fortitude, intellectual wherewithal, and moral compass to report the truth, but would rather find ways to buddy up with their Cool Prez and propagandize their own liberal ideology to boot.

Here's what is currently circulating among liberal ranks: a picture of Obama saying, "Send me a Congress in 2014 that wants to build a road, send me a Congress in 2014 that cares about the middle class, send me a Congress in 2014 that will help me create jobs and fight global warming. Then and only then will we get things done."

ObamaCare legislation was just the beginning.

The Bible's prophet Amos' posed a question which Establishment Republicans and the Tea Party should consider: "Can two walk together, except they be agreed?" Sometimes we have to agree to disagree. Unless Republicans stand together against the onslaught of liberal ideology, they and those of us who love freedom do not stand a chance come 2014.

Except it's not gas, it's a different kind of movement that doesn't just blow away. The stench just sits there from it, and the rest of us are the ones that gotta clean it up.

While this warning is all well and good, it doesn’t matter.

We are in a losing battle with “low information” voters, but more than that, the lazy “intellectual”, the “distracted” voter. This warning is preaching to the choir. We know, we understand and we see, but even if we all vote 100% we are still a very small minority.

The lazy and the stupid are fat dumb and happy with the pre digested clap-trap the media regurgitates into their mouthes every day. What we say and do will not make a bit of difference.

Sorry folks, I’ve given up on the voting majority in America, it’s best we just make sure we survive when the collapse hits.

Vote against them but never vote for a rat, or sit an election out, so the rat can win. If necessary hold your nose and vote for the Republican

Only one thing can save this country--and merely voting for Republicans/conservatives is not it.

We--as a country--must turn back to God. Otherwise we are doomed.

Painting Republicans as bad guy includes the offensive comparison of the TEA Party to the KKK. The following letter came from Alan Grayson, Florida (D). He sent out this letter comparing the TEA Party to the KKK simply because a 'T' looks like a cross.

Well, two can play that game. Here's mine in return:

At least gas dissipates by itself over time.

The debt problem, however, just keeps growing, exacerbated by an idiotic President whose only solution is to fire more & more borrowed money into the economy, in the same way that Gen. Haig’s only solution to breaking the German lines in WWI was to hurl more & more waves of young men at the machine guns. How’d that one work out??

This country is doomed because the majority of the public lacks discernment or the initiative to seek the truth on their own.

Even some FReepers have been spreading the lie that the republicans caused the partial shutdown. It’s disgusting.
