The White House has fired National Security Council official Jofi Joseph for running an anonymous Twitter account that harshly criticized Obama administration policies and members, sometimes in scathingly personal terms.
Mr. Joseph was nonproliferation director at the NSC, and was involved in preparing for nuclear negotiations with Iran. He was also poised to move to a top Pentagon job before his abrupt dismissal

While @NatSecWonk is not active anymore, The Daily Beast saved a few of Joseph’s most recent tweets. They include:
“I’m a fan of Obama, but his continuing reliance and dependence upon a vacuous cipher like Valerie Jarrett concerns me.” This posting certainly didn’t sit well with Obama – Jarrett is a close aide and friend of the president.
“Was Huma Abedin wearing beer goggles the night she met Anthony Wiener? Almost as bad a pairing as Samantha Powers and Cass Sunstein,” he wrote. The tweet bashed four people – former U.S. Secretary of State Hillary Clinton’s chief of staff, her husband and former U.S. congressman, and two Obama aides, both prominent authors.

How about, “How could we have elected a man who has surrounded himself with America’s greatest Communist traitors?” And, “why hasn’t the media informed the American people who these people surrounding the president are, and what they are doing?”

It would seem there is more to the story.
Guy may have been fired at the urging of a Clintonista. He might have some inside information of use to Hillary's opponents in 2016.

He didn’t reveal any State secrets. He just stated his opinion of some of the people he saw. Happens all the time.
