The fact that Shaheen is freaking out over this indicates its going to be a bigger disaster than first thought, and she’ll be in trouble.

I’ve been saying on other sites since the 0zer0care rollout fiasco, that eventually the dumbcrats will have no choice but to delay the implementation. The reason is simple. Once millions of people get “fined” for not having insurance “mandated” by the Fed. Govt, it will be easy to win class action lawsuits against 0zer0care because the Fed. Govt failed to provide any mechanism for the people to comply with the mandate. The irony will be too much. Lawyers represent the biggest dumbcrat backers, yet it will be these same lawyers that will cause 0zer0care to implode. Many lawsuits were dismissed previously because plaintiffs “lacked standing” because the law hadn’t taken effect, and therefore they couldn’t claim “harm”. All that changes once fines are levied. I suspect that if the cases reach the SC, even the much hated Roberts will vote this time to do away with 0zer0care.

The only way 0zer0care survives is if the Stupid Party (GOP) caves again and throws 0zer0 a lifeline with bi-partisan “fixes”. I suspect that is exactly what will happen. You will see many more “Kentucky Kickbacks” to get the RINOS to “fix” 0zer0care. The dumbcrats HAVE to delay this now, so they have time to bribe RINOS. It has nothing to do with actually delivering something beneficial to the people. I suspect we will see a “Grand Bargain” between dumbcrats & RINOS when the next Budget/Debt Ceiling fight happens. The Grand Bargain will be spun as bipartisan, and only the evil conservative Tea Party will vote against it. That works to the advantage of both the dumbcrats and RINOS for 2014, as their re-election is all these groups care about.

That's where we disagree. This is NOT about who wins and who loses. It's about not having that mandate kick in. From there, come up with the good ideas, like an OPTIONAL catastrophic-only policy with no pre-existing condition clause. But don't wait until after another election; Obama will do what he damn well pleases then, by executive degree.

I fear that some RINOs actually want Obamacare; that they've figured out ways to profit from it. Example....Kasich, the supposed "Republican" governor of OH just went along with expanded Medicaid with the associated federal money, finding a way around the legislature. Why...the hospitals want all of that federal money.

How many disgusting RINOs are just waiting to do their thing, after they get elected again? Just look at the numbers of saboteurs and their treachery toward Ted Cruz. We're supposed to trust them to not save Obamacare after the election?

There is another sign that the penalty policy may be in flux: While HHS referred MarketWatch’s previous inquiries about the fine, and the deadline to avoid it, to the Treasury, a spokesperson there referred a request Wednesday back to HHS, suggesting that the health officials are now the ones writing new rules for the law.

It’s just very disturbing how this entire issue is being framed in terms of Obama himself deigning to grant a one year delay. Isn’t it about time the opposition party stood up for the rule of law? The Dear Leader didn’t have the authority to make all those other alterations to the Affordable Health Care Act and he doesn’t have the authority to single-handedly delay the individual mandate either, unless we all once again roll over and let him do it.

Just saw this on Market Watch, they are speculating that obama will delay the penalty on the personal mandate.
+++++++++
And what will that accomplish? The real damage is done - millions of people have lost their insurance coverage due to the stringent new Obamacare requirements.

It would just be a gesture and one that be remembered by the he immortal phrase :

I GUESS TED CRUZ WAS RIGHT AFTER ALL.

Now what is the chance that will happen?

Re-vote the law. That's the only way to kill it. Re-vote! Don't give a “delay”. That's what the moozlums refer to as taquia (sp?)...or time to regroup before the next attack. Repubs will be double-dead to me if they offer the DIMs a “lifeline” on this anti-Freedom, anti-American garbage law.

The mandate delay is going to be the least of their problems. People are being dropped from their plans by the tens of thousands. Where do they go?

Once obama caves on the thing he said he would never rescind, leaves the door for ending it.
People are being dropped because of the idiotic government requirements, if obamacare is ended private and/or insurance can be offered again.

I agree this piece of crap is a disaster. But what do you expect from people who have never had a real job and couldn’t run a leomnade stand?

So is it extension of the enrollment deadline or delay of the individual mandate? They should do both and really tank the program.
