I feel for the next President (if the country survives till 2017). His entire administration will be consumed with fixing the foreign policy damage done by THE WON^™.

Every country gathers all the information they can get on every other country they can, because it is in their interest to have as much info as possible. Always have, always will. All heads of state know this, because they use this info to make decisions on a daily basis. The whining about being “spied on” is for domestic consumption.
