Bottom line? A few pets (580 dogs in the past SIX YEARS) have supposedly died from eating jerky treats from China....and the FDA has sent INSPECTORS to Chinese plants....yes, this has been a priority for Obama's FDA.

AND....they can't find squat. So the FDA is asking the public for help on this issue.

But hey, you can trust them to handle your drugs and food under Obamacare....

Hmm....hundreds dead. All ate Chi-com jerky treats. In my former line of work, that was known as a “clue.” Obviously, the FDA ain't got one. Here's an idea: want to stop the carnage? Don't buy Chi-com crap.

580 dead over six years...this represents an EXCEEDINGLY small percentage of the pet population. I wonder if the treats are really to blame.

Unfortunately Chinese ingredients are often sent to the US for mixing here.

From vitamins to medication to apple juice...often unlabelled.

The US should be peach capital of the world, right? Watch out for canned peaches from China. At least they’re labelled.

Most of the US honey supply is adulterated by Chinese “honey” - from hives treated with chemicals banned in the US, pollen filtered out to obscure origin, possibly diluted with other sweeteners.

My daughter spent a semeseter in China last year - was appalled by Chinese lack of sanitation, pollution, indifference, widespread lack of any sense of duty or decency to others than family. Not everyone was like that but far too many.

The cause is simple to isolate, can you say China? And if they do this to food for animals what is happening to the food for humans being manufactured in China and being disguised with a made in America label?
