Exclusive--Poll: VA Gov Race A Toss Up
http://www.breitbart.com ^ | 24 Oct 2013, 7:12 AM PDT | by Mike Flynn

A new poll, provided exclusively to Breitbart News, finds the Virginia Governor's race a virtual dead-heat, with Democrat Terry McAuliffe leading Republican Ken Cuccinelli 41%-40%. Libertarian Robert Sarvis garners 10% and 9% of likely voters remain undecided. With less than two weeks to go, the race is a toss-up that will likely be decided by turnout, a critical factor in an off-year election.

The poll comes from Wenzel Strategies, which accurately predicted closing momentum for Sens. Ted Cruz, Rand Paul and Deb Fischer, among others. The slight edge McAuliffe holds is due mostly to stronger support within his partisan base. 81% of Democrats support McAuliffe, against just 68% of Republicans who support Cuccinelli.

Cuccinelli's support seems be building, however, has public attention moves away from the recent government shutdown to the failing implementation of ObamaCare. Cuccinelli was a leading national figure suing to overturn the health care law.

The closeness of the race is apparent in the millions spent by left-wing groups to support McAuliffe in the closing days. In addition, Hillary and Bill Clinton, close allies of McAuliffe have made themselves permanent fixtures in the Commonwealth campaign on his behalf.

“There’s a reason the Clintons have been called in to spend a week campaigning for McAuliffe and that Bloomberg is pouring in millions with 2 weeks to go,” Brian Baker, President of Ending Spending Action Fund, which commissioned the poll told Breitbart News. “Their internals must be showing what our poll indicates -- that his unfavorables are high and they must try to suppress Cuccinelli turnout to prevail. All indications are that the numbers are closing, especially post shutdown. The focus will be where the undecideds go and what will Sarvis draw. With the race this close, the poll indicates a vote for Sarvis is a vote for McAuliffe.”

The conclusion in the article, that there must be a reason for the last minute push by the dark side would seem to have merit.

WTH? Libertarian candidate getting that much support vs. a relatively solid conservative like Ken?

Libertarians are doing the job the liberals couldn't do. Wonder if McAuliffe will call the libertarian and thank him for his efforts. What a cluster. We deserve what we get.

With the race this close, the poll indicates a vote for Sarvis is a vote for McAuliffe.”

Libertarians are dope-smoking, animal molesting, stealth commie wastes of human potential.

Libertarians always post that Republicans (more so than Democrats, because I think they’re secretly allied with Dems in many ways) should abandon the major parties and vote 3rd party.

They don’t realize that the Republican base rejects libertarians 1) Because many times libertarians overlap with kook conspiracy (and anti-Semitism/racist) craziness,
2) Conservative Republicans will never give up social conservatism to elect liberals that are 100% free-market, 3) They generally can’t win, 4) We can be more effective IN the Republican party.

Suck it liberals posing as “libertarians”.

Hillary dissed Obama in her McAuliffe endorsement speech? That's odd b/c Obama is doing everything he can to save her sorry *** for 2016.

EGYPTIAN GENERAL DOING THE JOB OBAMA/HOLDER WON'T DO Egyptian Gen al-Sisi just nailed the Clintons' Muzzie employee for inciting Mideast terror while working for the Clintons do-good foundation.

Gehad el-Haddad
(The stupid Clintons did not know Gehad was Farsi for "jihad")

REFERENCE A Muslim Brotherhood activist on US soil was on the Clintons' payroll---an employee of one of three tax- exempt Clinton Foundations. Astonishingly--the terrorist was working for the Clintons, and simultaneously conducting Mideast terror activities.

Also raises huge questions about the Clintons' three tax-exempt foundations laundering money for terror activities. Tax-exempt foundations are known havens for money laundering and tax evasion.

BACKTORY Gehad (the stupid Clintons did not know Gehad means "jihad") el-Haddad served as one of the Muslim Brotherhood’s top communications officials; he was a top Muslim Brotherhood official and adviser to Obama's hand-picked Egyptian candidate, Morsi; el-Haddad served for five years as a top official at the Clinton Foundation, a nonprofit group founded by former President Bill Clinton.

Gehad El-Haddad pushed the Muslim Brotherhood’s Islamist agenda in the foreign press, where he was often quoted defending the Brotherhood’s crackdown on civil liberties in Egypt. He became the public face of the Islamist organization soon after leaving his post at the Clinton Foundation; much of his official work with the Brotherhood took place while he was still claiming to be employed by the Clinton Foundation.

==================================================

Gehad's intimacy w/ the Clintons also explains why the Clintons just remade themselves into the hallowed "Clinton Family Foundation."

The "Holy Family."

The more cynical among us might wonder if the Clintons' Foundations were money laundering for the Muslim Brotherhood.

NY POST EXCERPT ----The Bill Clinton Foundation has spent more than $50 million on travel expenses — Bill Clinton’s foundation has spent more than $50 million on travel expenses since 2003, an analysis of the nonprofit’s tax forms reveal.....includes $4.2 million in 2011 for the William J. Clinton Foundation (to which Hillary and Chelsea are attached); $730,000 for the Clinton Global Health Initiative; and $7.2 million for the Clinton Health Action Initiative (CHAI).

The Clintons' 24/7 self-promotion--a familiar do-good liberal schtick: whining about "helping" the needy, and hoping to make a buck on it.

The Clintons' shady proclivities are unveiled in the recent NYT investigative story. Corruption, greed, entitlement, nepotism, cronyism. The Clintons didn't have a pot to *** in in Arkansas---never even had a home to call their own. Now they're multi millionaires.......the connivers have perfected the scam WRT gaming the govt system for themselves.

=====================================

There needs to be a thorough going-over of the three Clinton Foundations. We need to know who pays/funds the Clinton's lifestyle/political ambitions---- especially b/c Hillary is running for prez. It is important to know to whom the Clinton's are truly indebted.

How many ways can the conniving Clintons use their name to launder money?

<><> The William J. Clinton Family Foundation......

More importantly, what is the connection between Corzine's MF Global, Teneo (which paid Bill Clinton $50,000 per month), The Clintons multiple tax-exempt foundations, and Muslim money-Laundering?

I know little about Virginia, but I figure the fraud is massive. With that, and the vans driving around the ghetto, dragging people out of bed, giving them donuts and cigs to vote for Rats, the state has been turned.

We need to see “Rasmussen” go out of business. They are in the Obama camp for sure.

Yep...they've taken a strong left turn, since Scott left earlier in the year.

It is important that conservatives across the nation believe and trust the Wenzel Strategies poll as it will provide momentum for Ken to win.

All other pollsters tend to have a leftist bias as they predict that Ken will lose and in last year’s election ignored the real support for GOP candidates in swing states.

I hope this poll is accurate, but using the Cruz race as reference is odd. There was little doubt he would win.

Wenzel Polling also predicted Todd Akin and Mitt Romney would win. Not super reliable.

They also were the only firm to predict that Todd Akin would win. Did he?

One of the reasons that Virginia is turning blue is because a large portion of people in Maryland moved there to escape the taxes in Maryland.

In many respects Akin’s loss was very narrow, but if not for the Wenzel poll providing much needed momentum for Todd, Akin’s loss would have been much worse.

Having mcawful in place in purple VA will be key to shrillery’s 2016 campaign.

I haven’t really followed the VA race, but it does seem odd to have the big dogs showing up if indeed Mc is up 10+ 2 weeks out...

Only 2 reasons the big dogs show up.. 1 their guy is in trouble, or 2 their guy is a lock and they want the easy photo op/victory lap.

If he’s up 10+ that does imply the latter, and I know the libertarian can play the spoiler in this, which is likely what will happen, whoever wins it will be with a plurality, not a majority.
