A veteran Washington D.C. investigative journalist says the Department of Homeland Security confiscated a stack of her confidential files during a raid of her home in August — leading her to fear that a number of her sources inside the federal government have now been exposed.
In an interview with The Daily Caller, journalist Audrey Hudson revealed that the Department of Homeland Security and Maryland State Police were involved in a predawn raid of her Shady Side, Md. home on Aug. 6. Hudson is a former Washington Times reporter and current freelance reporter.
A search warrant obtained by TheDC indicates that the August raid allowed law enforcement to search for firearms inside her home.

It is doubtful as it seems the communist indoctrination, started in our public schools, is stronger than being raised a Muslim. You see everyone else as an infidel to your religion of socialism/communism/Marxism/progressive.

What kind of an investigative reporter leaves notes with her sources in them laying around at her residence?
There aren’t too many more lines to cross. Why does having a gun allow the SWAT team to come into your home and collect data? Things like this are when the nightmare becomes frightening.
Based on the info presented...not sure if she has a case or not. It would appear on the face of things that the seizure of documents would be inconsistent with a search for firearms. However, back in my LEO days, I never requested or executed a search warrant that did not include some verbiage like “or any other materials or objects evidencing violations of local, State, or Federal ordinances, statutes or laws.”, in the description of what was to be searched or seized.
To that end, this one still seems a bit shaky. Certainly worth a vigorous challenge.

And keep digital backup media in a separate place. I don’t think the Feds were after depriving her of the info. Instead, they wanted to know what she knew and from whom. Then they track down the sources and silence them. They also deliver a rather pointed message to the jouralist.
It’s how things work in the beginning. In the next step, people simply disappear.
