In another thread on the Virginia gubernatorial elections, I wondered aloud about what’s happening in Virginia ( which used to be a reasonably conservative state ).

The unanimous explanation was that Washington DC has grown too large and most of these government workers live in Northern Virginia... there are probably enough of them to overcome the conservative votes in-land.

Just witness what happened in 2008 and again in 2012.

No, sorry to say, won’t even be close.

The cited poll was done by a pollster who has been wrong lately w/ his polling and not even close to the actual outcome.

I truly hope that come the Wednesday after the election I can be called a dipstick for not believing. But alas, I don’t think that will be the case.

Virginia is going to be blue for statewide races, unless something drastically changes.
