ObamaCare is making seniors sick.
Elderly New Yorkers are in a panic after getting notices that insurance companies are booting their doctors from the Medicare Advantage program as a result of the shifting medical landscape under ObamaCare.
That leaves patients with unenviable choices: keep the same insurance plan and find another doctor, pay out of pocket or look for another plan where their physician is a member.

I’m glad I have regular medicare. 3 stents put in Wednesday with my choice of doctor.
Dr. Obama says they might be better off just taking the blue pill.
Seriously, I wonder what percent of New York seniors voted for this fecal matter . . .

Advantage is going away, isn’t it?
Gee, but under Obamacare if you like your doctor you can keep them. /s
Only the obots believed this. They screamed at us calling us racists for telling them this would not happen. They hated hearing the truth and they hated us for telling them the truth.
Now it’s all falling apart like we knew it would, and they still somehow believe it’s OUR fault it’s not working, when we’had no votes for it, the democrats allowed no input from us in the ACA, no floor debate, no amendments allowed to be presented, voted down all of our alternative bills/plans, had nobody involved with implementing it as it’s executive branch HHS Obama folks, and that we were all idiots,
yet somehow, somehow, us idiots were somehow’able’to cause obamacare to fail massively. the stupid people’were somehow able’to thwart the smart obama and the smart democrats, the entire senate and entire executive branch, and we somehow derailed obamacare.
yeah, talk about ‘does not compute’. that doesn’t and neither does their stinkin’ website.
My United Healthcare advantage plan has been terrific. However, they are still advertising that they “have no networks”, yet I got a letter yesterday warning to check to see if my doctors are “in network” because UH won’t pay anything to them if they are not. So far, there has been no network list supplied.
I’m worried about this because my husband had a brain tumor removed 3 years ago and has continued to be watched by his team of surgeons/radiologists at the Medical College. So far, so good. If he has to change doctors, something might slip through the cracks.
BTW, I got another letter a couple of weeks ago that alerted me to this “network” problem with United Healthcare. That notice talked about certain Counties in Wisconsin where there would be no network doctors, as well as certain areas of the country Yet, the ads about having “no networks” from UH continue.
Probably nothing for Doctor like the previous 3 stents. I do have a retirement work secondary but I don't know remember if it was used for the Hospital.
Hmmmm. Maybe so-called smart liberals should vote for the candidates that are not WRONG ALL THE TIME!
Hope....Change.....Death Panels....
In the process of looking at other plans. My county is covered, but what about getting sick, or in an accident, while traveling?
My doctors fired my Medicare Advantage provider, United Healthcare.
I will get a new policy probably with Humana. They know the score and are advertising heavily in my zip code
Absolutely. But their advantage plan was great. Looks like they are trying to unload it. Humana is making a big play around here for the Advantage market.
