Senator Ron Johnson (R., Wis.) announced today that next week he will file legislation that will allow Americans to keep their previous health-insurance plans, as President Obama promised. The proposed bill, entitled the If you Like Your Health Plan, You Can Keep It Act, would, according to Johnsons statement amend the Affordable Care Act to make Obamacare live up to the promises of the politicians who sold the plan to the American public.
From the press release:
One of the most important promises made by President Obama and Democrat congressional leadership to promote the Affordable Care Act was that Americans who were satisfied with their health plans could keep them. That promise has been broken. More than a million Americans have been notified that the plans they like with the coverage they have chosen have been canceled. Millions more Americans will have the plans of their choice canceled in months to come.

what if you have paid into Medicare all your working career, find it’s RATIONED, and then your Tricare Life (Ret. Military over 65 known as TFL) is also RATIONED and you are being turned down by doctors as potential patients. And you cannot up grade surgery procedures.
Like cataract, it could be up graded to have astigmasim lenses instead of the mono single focus lens, after all you eyes normally see more than 1 distance. It would stop my having to purchase new glasses every year at $350 a pop per just the lenses. But you always need new frames so add another $200 for about a $500 lay out, and with the new 10% deduction for medical you will rarely meet the required amount so you are back to filing short form just as you did when you were 18.
Republicans have done it, too. Defense of Marriage Act really defended marriage from a sneak attack via the Full Faith and Credit clause, but No Child Left Behind Act?
