“but as a friend and an ally to free 11 million people.”

I like this part! Free 11 million??? Are they locked up somewhere? Is there a fence that prevents them from going home? Oh wait, a fence that doesn’t do crap is supposed to keep them from coming in? What the hell am I missing here?!

I personally think there is more to this then just getting free labor. I rememeber the day amnesty passed the Senate Hatch and Baucus announced something called corporate tax reform. Unless I miss my guess that is what these wealthy Republicans are really supporting and that is the pay off. They are also stupid enough to believe they are going to keep it. WE have just let them lower the taxes on these people and they don't seem to need us anymore.

...The Republican Party must embrace more legal immigration.

Unfortunately, like many of the major debates in Washington, immigration has become a stalemate-where both sides are imprisoned by their own rhetoric or attachment to sacred cows that prevent the possibility of a balanced solution.

Immigration Reform will not occur until Conservative Republicans, like myself, become part of the solution. I am here today to begin that conversation.

Let’s start that conversation by acknowledging we aren’t going to deport 12 million illegal immigrants.

If you wish to work, if you wish to live and work in America, then we will find a place for you...

This is where prudence, compassion and thrift all point us toward the same goal: bringing these workers out of the shadows and into being taxpaying members of society.

Imagine 12 million people who are already here coming out of the shadows to become new taxpayers.12 million more people assimilating into society. 12 million more people being productive contributors.

[but he’s not in favor of amnesty, snicker, definition of is is]

To the contrary, they've been proudly demonstrating on the Mall with the blessing of Barry and Pablo while war heroes were confronted with Barrycades.

And the fake head count (11 million) is in reality closer to 3 times that number.
