Appearing on NBC’s Meet the Press, former Pennsylvania Senator and 2012 presidential candidate Rick Santorum bashed Senator Ted Cruz (R-TX), saying that Cruz’s crusade against Obamacare had ben counterproductive. “I would say in the end, he did more harm. I think it was not his objective," Santorum said.
He continued: "I think his objective was a laudable one. I think he didn't do a very good job of planning it out. I think it's one thing to have a goal and another thing to have a plan to get you to that goal…Unlike the Democratic party who has a leader, has the president, there isn't a leader in the Republican Party right now. That's part of the problem. That's part of the mess and the confusion. But that's always the way it is with a party out of power. You have lots of different faces and those faces, as we've seen, they come and they go."

This is where some conservatives go off the rails...an I suspect the same ones off the rails with Huck in 08 (you know who you are) were off with Ricky in 12. Thumping the Bible the loudest and the most often does not mean you are the best conservative....NEVER has meant that. I say that, and I’m a Bible beleiving Reagan Tea Party base type conservative.....

Santorum, et al, are self-destructing. The silent majority will be calling for a new CONSERVATIVE party to get back to a real Constitutional Republic. All the RINOs can do is criticize conservatives. They are gutless cowards just worrying about their country clubs and golden perks.
Losers — need to be replaced. At least Cruz tried. Way more than can be said for the RINO lefties.
You got that right - Huckabee is just that: Establishment RINO who shows his true colors often enough that no one should be fooled by his populist pontificating.
