Santorum: Cruz Did More Harm than Good Santorum has done more harm than good to himself by being critical of Cruz.

It looks like the GOP-e is sending out the B-team to attack Cruz - or could it be that the “look-at-me” crowd wants some face time, no matter the harm?

Santorum is simply wrong on this issue. Cruz motivated a lot of people to get up and stand against the most oppressive government to ever exist in the U.S. and got the Democrats and liberals to take a harder look at Obamacare. We have been seeing a domino effect since then.

Every time I read the name Santorum, my brain says scrotum.

Well it’s pretty clear now that Santorum is planning another run for the White House.

Rick is a one issue candidate. He actually hurts the party.
I sure hope he doesn’t run again.

I thought the plan was to get the Pubbies to vote against cloture.

WHY....WHY do we Eat our OWN and NEVER...NEVER go after the DEMOCRATS?????? It Boggles my mind every time. Great question, and remember, there were two, yes, just two of the candidates the last time around who did go after Democrats. Newt and Cain. In two different stages, maybe three stages, of the process. And when that was happening, either Newt or Cain was dominating the polls, because that is in fact what people want. Santorum was sneering at the other Republicans then too.
Of course, Cain imploded for other reasons, and then the Bad Newt emerged on the advice of his idiot consultants and the good Newt imploded in Florida and the race was effectively over.

Rick is the loser-candidate that the Establishment backs to keep the base in line—so that the full-fledged RINO gets the nomination. Santorum is done. We need people with principles and courage and Rick has neither.

‘Sounds like santorum has chosen to side with obama instead of the Constitution. I hope all those RCs are listening—I’m sure Pelosi took him to heart.

Was just discussing this article with hubby, and we were just saying this! 11th commandment has been tossed aside and it will destroy the GOP. They are too busy worrying about what each other is doing as opposed to destroying the Dems/socialists.

Another of the GOP-e's self-aggrandizing prigs weighs in on Ted Cruz. Rick has been a company man from the beginning, being the designated "pro-lifer" that gives a particular contingent of the icky ("common people") base the illusion that they have some sort of say in matters Republican. When the chips are down, Rick gets back into line fairly fast.

I told the RNC that they wouldn’t get another dime of my contributions until I heard a public apology from McCain, P. King, Graham, and Rove, for bashing other Republicans on national TV. I’ll have to add Santorum to that list. BTW, I haven’t heard any apologies yet, but it stopped the nearly daily emails from various GOP committees.
