New Jersey Governor Chris Christie has scored an endorsement from Shaquille O'Neal, the basketball legend expressed in a video released Sunday.

“I don’t support many politicians, but Chris Christie is different,” said Shaq in the 30 second video, released just nine days before the standing governor will compete with Democrat Barbara Buono at the polls.

O'Neal, who was born in Newark, NJ, continued, “He’s working with me to bring jobs back to our cities, and on a new program to help kids in tough neighborhoods get ahead.”

O’Neal and Christie visited the Boy & Girls Club of East Camden earlier in the month to announce the “Just Play Campaign,” according to NBC Philadelphia.

That is a little better. I heard it this morning and I thought he endorsed Charlie Christ.
For those that don't live in Florida Charlie was the RINO governor, then was going to be our US Senator. Marco beat him out. Then the RINO became a RAT. Now he plans to run again as the RAT he has always been.

No surprise here. Shaquille O’Neal is one of the biggest financial backers for a major real estate project in Newark that is slated to get tens of millions of dollars in state tax credits. Everyone acts like a Republican when their own money is on the line.

Actually, Shaq isn’t a twit. I had several classes with him as an undergrad at LSU.

He’s no brain surgeon, I’ll grant you, but neither is he a twit.

His support of Christie is..... unfortunate.

Watching Shaq over the years has given me the same impression. He’s more intelligent than the average NBA thug. But intelligent is irrelevant if you’re black: you vote Marxist. He might support Christie now, but he’ll support Hiliary later. Of course, when choosing between Christie and Hiliary one might ask “What difference does it make?”

Regardless how moderate or conservative a Republican politician is, perception is everything now in this social media circus we call American Politics. When you have 99% of public figures, idols, movie stars, musicians, athletes completely giving props and endorsements to Democrats you must embrace one like Shaq whom actually breaks away from the pack.... that itself is perception worth its weight in GOLD.
