To some of us. Others, well... hell, people elected Hitler to Chancellor, I suppose, and went along with Pol Pot, and supported the King of England in America. There's always a few.

Hitler was appointed Chancellor, even though the Nazis didn’t fare well in the election, by Von Papen who did it to spite his rival Von Schleicher. They thought Hitler could be controlled. The Nazis actually lost seats in the following election, which were to be the last free elections until the end of the war.

There are always more than a few. There are always enough enablers to set in motion an inordinate amount of eventual bloodshed. It's a disgusting human proclivity.
