I've always thought that minesweeper sailors had to be some of the gutsiest. Going out in a little wooden boat looking for bombs big enough to sink capital ships. They killed him, but I'll bet they never scared him.

Here is one scenario where the new shock horror movies, a la Saw and Hostel and the tons of rip offs, actually have their uses - we can use them to get ideas about fitting punishments for these 4 individuals.

"A veteran who served on a minesweeper in the Pacific theater during World War II"
Another article mentions Mr. Thornton served on the USS Herald. The wiki article for this ship mentions its operations almost identical and less than a week ahead of the ship my father served on at the same time.
There's a good chance that both of the ships were in Sasebo and Shanghai at the same time and my dad could have possibly rubbed elbows with him on liberty.
Here's a flotilla of minesweepers in Shanghai during the time frame they both were there.

This heinous murder occurred in Mississippi. In an earlier time, justice already would have been delivered to the “utes.” Packs of feral animals preying on the weak and elderly have become a reality.

More Africans killing old white people..
This seems to be a popular trend among American Africans.
