This poll reflects the tightening that I’ve been seeing on the ground here in VA the past two weeks. McAuliffe has made a critical mistake by getting Bloomberg, Clinton, and now Obama Biden into the race. The Obamacare mess is really showing up when I’m door knocking. Yesterday for example in one case a guy who hadn’t been following the race closely said that he was voting Cuccinelli because his health plan had been cancelled and the new one had doubled his premium. Another lady said that she had been undecided until she saw a news report that Obama was coming to campaign for McAuliffe. We can win this thing even with the fake libertarian stoner in the race.
I hear that Obama's going to campaign for the Democrat gubernatorial candidate in NJ, by appearing at a fundraiser for Christie.
Also, the race had been close before the shutdown. During the shutdown Ken’s numbers went down, due to the backlash (we have a large federal workforce). With the shutdown ended, that anger is easing, especially now that all the feds got essentially paid vacation time.

I wonder if the Obamacare effect of UVA faculty spouses losing university-sponsored health insurance will have any impact on voting in deep blue Charlottesville? Sorry, but I doubt it.
