My Mother was born within sight of the Alabama state line tho technically in Florida. Her Father owned land in both states.

I believe Mother served sweet tea with at least 99% of her meals. It was good too.

This is going to be a problem in our state. Texans have a glass of sweet tea in one hand and a six shooter in the other and I suggest that no nanny Yankee try to remove either.

I grew up in northern Illinois. My mom was from southern Illinois. Way south. She always made ice tea with sugar. Growing up, I thought that was the only way to drink it. I still drink it that way.

I drink my tea with no sugar at all. Just a squeeze of lemon.

My Grandma was born in north Hill Country of Texas.

She made it all the time. But it was always just called Ice Tea.
