MSNBC Ad For New Website: Contribution-in-Kind To Wendy Davis?

When a network's adputatively for its own websiteextensively features a candidate for office in a high-profile race, at what point does the ad constitute a contribution in kind to that politician's campaign?
The question arises in light of MSNBC's ad for its new website that aired on today's Morning Joe. In the space of 30 seconds, the ad twice featured shots of Wendy Davis, Dem candidate for Texas governor, who became an overnight liberal darling on the basis of her filibuster of a Texas law imposing restrictions on abortion. For good measure, the ad also displayed what appeared to be jubiliant crowd reaction to Davis' filibuster.

The lefty media would love nothing more than a Democrat to be elected governor of Texas. They’ll push this one hard all the way up to election day.

Did it also include the mob of Davis supporters chanting “Hail, Satan!” in the TX capitol rotunda? I’ll bet not.

At what point does it even matter? Do we honestly think anything will be done punitively to MSNBC?
Until we or our "million bikers", "million truckers", etc. start riding through the MSM's main lobbies this will continue.

Yeah, this might be a close governors race, but I ain't voting for her....NEVER.
She will play the amnesty card, abortion card and whatever else in the liberal deck. Money from Soros groups will pour in and the press will give her nothing but kittens, puppies, candy and unicorn farts.
All my fellow Texans best be ready to vote....

I admit this sounds a tad fishy, and I’m surprised they would do something like this. But, is she identified? I mean would the average person know who she was and that she was running for office?
I actually have no problem with any political ads. I like it when Planned Parenthood, for example, spends money on political ads, if they endorse somebody I know to vote for the other candidate. It gives me information I might not otherwise have, and sincerely, I appreciate the effort.

This is a rich white liberal money grab for Hillary’s 2016 run.

I definitely won’t vote for Davis but before I vote for Abbot I want to hear about his stance on illegal immigration. As far as I have been able to determine, he has avoided taking a stand one way or the other on this issue.
