Doesn’t matter what Sarvis thinks...matters what those 13% supporting him think. If they are limited government libertarians, they’ll likely take Ron Pauls advice and vote Cooch. If they are just pro dopers or anti Christian types, they’ll probably stay with Sarvis....
I think so too. The serious libertarians will wake up. The young idealists probably not but then again they were most likely not going to vote or lean Democrat.

I think it's more complicated than you say above, though. The Democrats have been very, very successful with sex as an issue. By this I mean, they can almost make any Republican who has ever said anything about birth control, abortion, or gays radioactive for the 5-7% of the electorate who are strongly libertarian but who don't care much about weed and who, prior to the War on Women, were winnable by the GOP.
I haven't followed the VA race closely enough to know if Cuccinelli is really interested in what's in your pants and what you're doing with it, but that line of attack has been SO successful elsewhere that the Democrats are going to use it and use it until someone figures out how to beat it.
