Liberals are people that have never made the transition from dependent adolescent idealist to independent real-world adult.

The former characteristics: irrational optimism only focused on positives and greatly underestimating problems/negatives, not nearly as much worldly experience but believes they’re smarter than parents and God, they are immortal, they are never wrong, if things do go wrong it’s always someone else’s fault, if people disagree it’s not because of genuine objections, it’s because of hate, racism, sexism, whatever. Feelings trump logic, their core beliefs often contradict each other and result in massive hypocrisy and pretzel logic and when this is brought up, degrades into them unable to defend it and resorts to namecalling and epithets tossed at you. Their solutions always involve other people’s money and goods and forcing others to participate, but somehow because they propose these solutions they feel they’ve done enough to be exempt from the unpleasant parts of their solutions. Their entire world and worldview is centered around THEM, and often, many of their solutions/ideas are centered around their very own genitals. Their solutions never require people to grow up and become independent, they all continue to make people dependent on government.

This is liberals. Perpetual teenagers never forced to make the last final step into independent adulthood, in the sense of being personally responsible for their needs, and not demanding that others take care of them because it’s their RIGHT to be taken care of by everyone else.

Liberalism is stunted growth of a person. They fail to take the final step. They never have to look at the real world the way it actually is, they come up with these unreal-optimistic sweeping solutions that do not take into account the real world and how real people will react to these solutions, and are constantly surprised how spectacularly their utopia solutions, when attempted to be forced onto the real world, are dystopias and failures.
