My pee-wee football team won its league, undefeated We were noncom and officers’ sons at Fort Benning and thought we were pretty hot stuff.
So we played the best equivalent team from Columbus. They beat us like rented logsplitters .....

These homo-Gestapo brown shirts don't care that sodomite soldiers can get their bennies at a federal facility - they MUST force others to recognize and bow to their perversion. This is all it's about.

People think that Obamacare, gun laws, ever-increasing taxes, and abortion are the most serious issues facing us today. But it is the homosexual agenda that is the spearhead of ALL of these other oppressions.

I live in N.J. and somehow I don’t think we will follow Georgias lead.
But we are #1 in mass governor weight.

Good for them. The president is NOT their commander in chief nor is Hagel in their chain of command. The governor of Georgia is their commander in chief unless their units are activated, and then Obummer is their CIC only during that period.

The only way to defeat Obama is to ignore him. Ignore everything he tells us to do. They can’t kill or imprison all of us.

Good. I’m noticing that some of the dictatorship is beginning to crack at the state level.

But it remains to be seen what Herr Obama will do about it. Since he even turned the generally harmless parkies into storm troopers during the shutdown, I think his retaliation is going to be swift. I hope they hang in there.

it begins

This is the time for all good Americans in uniform to refuse illegal orders from a corrupt regime led by incompetent and possibly treasonous leadership .
This needs to begin at the top , at command level , as it appears to here , and not fall upon courageous Cols. , Majors
or NCO only

The Georgia National Guard this afternoon indicated it intends to ignore a directive from Defense Secretary Chuck Hagel and will continue to send same-sex spouses of National Guard personnel elsewhere for benefits guaranteed by the Pentagon.

Apparently Chuck Hagel is a puppet of the regime, unless he is among those who believe that men and women are interchangeable.

Hurray for the Georgia National Guard. They are among those of us who KNOW that men and women are different!

What could possibly go wrong?

If you like your state, you will be able to keep your state. Period.

If you like your sovereignty, you will be able to keep your sovereignty. Period.

No one will take them away. No matter what.

Makes sense to me. National Guardsmen are state employees until such time as they get on federal orders (with the exception of reserve technicians...who, during the week, are federal civil service).

I don’t really see the controversy here.

(yes, I’m being intentionally a little bit obtuse)

In his remarks to an Anti-Defamation League centennial dinner speech, Hagel did not name the states that are defying Pentagon policy on this issue. But the Pentagon has cited nine: Florida, Georgia, Indiana, Louisiana, Mississippi, Oklahoma, South Carolina, Texas and West Virginia.

Seems we have nine Governors with a spine...

Hagel said he instructed Grass to meet with the adjutants general from the nine states where the ID cards are being denied at state facilities. He said those adjutants general, who work for their states' governor, "will be expected to comply" with Pentagon policy on this issue.

How does Hagel expect to make these adjutants general who work for their Governors "comply" with an order clearly not within the framework of Hagel chain of command...

>>“The State of Georgia does not recognize same sex marriages and is not authorizing the Georgia National Guard to process the applications for same-sex married benefits at state facilities. Any personnel seeking to apply for same-sex married benefits will be referred to federal facilities.”

This is Florida-Georgia weekend, so I will not congratulate Georgia for this today. But, after the game tomorrow, I will cheer for this ballsy decision!

As I have said ad nauseum on FR the states will start to go their own way. GA leads the way.
