If the FCC enacts a version of the proposed “localism” measures to force broadcast stations to offer programming more “responsive to the needs and interests of the communities that they are licensed to serve” those stations carrying Savage will be forced to give free air time to ILLEGAL "immigrants" and others.

Goodbye Savage. That's exactly how the "Fairness Doctrine" worked vis-a-vis threats to a station's income and license.

I believe the FCC can enact the requirement all on its own with Obama's approval.

I almost forgot. The time got ahead of me, but thanks to my DAR.fm service, I have the full program. I am just now catching the first minuets.

It would not be a good idea to start the new time slot taking credit for stopping the Dubai Port deal -- even though Savage had NY Sen. Schumer on as a guest to oppose the deal..

CoastToCoastAM did several shows against the deal like this show on "Feb 22, 2006 - Host: George Noory ... United Arab Emirates port deal, which would put Dubai Ports World in charge of running major US shipping ports."

Noory takes credit for stopping the deal IIRC. Savage's claim which he has made before could spark an unpleasant controversy. But it would draw even more attention to his show . . . .

“Noory takes credit for stopping the deal”

I do not think that Noory on Kook to Kook can take much claim for anything beyond UFOs.

Red China has for decades been asking: “We can lose [insert current population of U.S.] how many can you lose?

RE: “A 200,000,000 man army will one day rise and unleash their deadly weapons of mass destruction killing one-third of the world’s population

That got 37 results (0.37 seconds) from google.

My hillbilly grandma told me back in the 1940s that China would be next to rule to world. And that was when China was just beginning to recover from W.W.II and before Mao.

If the corrupt Commies can figure out how to get the remaining 600 million or so citizens into relative prosperity -- and figure out a way to exist without us to buy their (sometimes life-threatening) products, then yes maybe they will.

Sorry, but Savage just sounds like a fool tonight.
He wants listeners to help collect great moments from the show for Jan. 2014.
Ha! How about in 2008 when he predicted that the Obama campaign was a flash in the pan and would be forgotten in a few months.
Or when he was discussing the Pettit murder case in Connecticut and suggested that Dr. Pettit may have done it himself.
He had some great guests on too—Orly Taitz, wow. And how about some of those fill-in hosts?
My favorite recent one was earlier this year when he spent practically a whole show talking about a missing Viet Nam pilot discovered after being thought dead for 44 years and the documentary made about it. The only problem is the story had been debunked 4 days earlier. Apparently a con artist of French-VietNamese descent has been trying to convince people off and on for years that he is this pilot who was most likely killed the very day he went missing. It would explain why forgot how to speak English and the names of his children.
Oh, so now Wikipedia is “all lies”? He is really being an ass tonight. And another thing, a few bugs and rodent hairs in spices won’t hurt you. I sometimes voluntarily eat bugs anyway.

Evidently a family named McGee thought it would be amusing to name their son Travis.

Now he says he doesn’t trust anybody named Williams. This man is practically certifiable tonight.
