He needs to get on the Jeff Sessions bandwagon.

I dont know if Sessions would or could endorse a candidate if there is some state GOP rule against it.

And the US Chamber of Commerce does need to be blasted. Blasted off the face of the earth. All they want is cheaper labor for more profit. I don’t mind people making money but enough is enough and enough is never enough for some greedy bastards.

Last poll I saw had Young in front.

Suspect Byrne would toe the GOP establishment line, while Young is more likely to rock the boat.

Byrne was the front runner in the last governor election, and was defeated in the primary via crossover votes from the teachers union because he supported cutting the union down to size and ticked them off when he ran the state’s historically corrupt community college system and managed to clean it up somewhat. (Ironically, the current governor, Robert Bentley, benefitted from the ploy and then presided over the legislation that took all of the union’s power away). So Byrne is not altogether a bad guy, but Young is more likely to support Tea Party goals.
