Barack Obama has been subjected to as many personal attacks as any modern president.
Terrorist. Traitor. Hater of America. Secret Muslim.
Unusually for a politician, however, the one thing he hasn't been called much is a liar, except by his most adamant critics.
That's all changed now. Obama is being widely called out for having claimed, repeatedly, that under the Affordable Care Act, people who liked their health insurance plans could keep them.

They howled, for instance, at his claims about being out of the loop when it came to the bungled Fast and Furious gun-swap program, or that he only found out that the IRS was targeting conservative organizations for scrutiny from news reports.
It's not just Republicans who are growing more skeptical — the situation is just weeks removed from an episode in which the country nearly went to war with Syria to preserve Obama's "credibility" about use of chemical weapons being a red line.
And it seems doubtful to many people that Obama could have been kept in the dark when it comes to tapping the phone and email accounts of foreign leaders.
THIS is from NPR... Yeah, National Public Radio... it's almost like their eyes are opening...
Maybe the Ministry of Truth members were away at the golf course at the time?
The stupidity of the left never fails to amaze me. If he wasn't well informed enough to tell the truth doesn't anyone think that he wouldn't try to correct it? It would be gross incompetence not to. So either the man deliberately lied or he's incompetent.
Personally, I think he's both.

His ideology endeared him to the Democrat Party base. They voted for him because they knew he would redistribute the goodies.
Democrats are not only the party of the big cram down, i.e. statism. They’re also the party of greed and envy. Wealth redistribution in the interest of “fairness” sells very well to the Democrat base. That was the change they were hoping for.
However, I do agree with x’s point that many moderates and others voted for Obama without really understanding his ideology. His base knew what they were getting, but many others are just now waking up to the fact that Obama is an ideologue first and foremost.
He doesn’t care. He’s done most of what he wanted to do in his quest to fundamentally change this country. All that remains is to open the floodgates to all the illegals that want to come in, hell he might as well just give citizenship to the entire country of Mexico.
He also said that the NSA was NOT SPYING on Americans!! LIAR!!! He LIES about EVERYTHING!
Bill Daly is the ONLY one that could even come close to exposing Obama.....all the others are fellow travelers.
Amen....the Democrats led by Obama have TOTALLY GAYED UP our once fine country.

The Party that campaigned “My body, my Choice” has turned over the regulatory power over everyone’s body to the IRS, and now shares, under (1) Obamcare, (2) Dodd-Frank, (3) Sarbanes-Oxley, (4) the Clean Air Act, (5) the Community Reinvestment Act, and, (6) the Patriot Act, along with others, much of the punitive power that the Oprichniki had under Ivan the Terrible, if just a bit less terrible.

Obama's July speech on the U.S. economy, spelled out the beginning of the end for federally controlled mortgage buyers Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac. “We’ll work with both parties to turn the page on Fannie and Freddie, and build a housing finance system that’s rock-solid for future generations,” Obama said, according to a copy of his prepared remarks.
True, both the House and the Senate are working on legislation to get rid of the giants, which were took under control by the federal government in 2008.

WHAT OBAMA OMMITTED FROM HIS SPEECH The Wall Street Journal on page A15 carried an article entitled “Treasury’s Fannie Mae Heist”.
Here is the first paragraph: “The Federal govt is seizing the substantial profits of the govt-chartered mortgage firms, Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac, taking for itself the property and potential gains of private investors the govt induced to help prop up these companies. This conduct is intolerable.” A scathing article follows.
