We already know that premiums will not fall, that we cannot keep our doctor or health care plan, that there will be thirty million uninsured after a decade of Obama Care, that it will raise the national debt, and that it robs Medicare to pay for it.
Of the vaunted beneficiaries of Obama Care only those with pre-existing conditions may eventually come out ahead.
Does this make sense? Seven to ten million Americans have or will shortly suffer cancellation of policies they themselves like. Millions of individuals and companies will pay fines.
Obama should answer a simple question: Why is it necessary to change our whole health care system to solve the problem of less than one percent of the population? Are there not simpler, more affordable solutions? If we gave a $10,000 subsidy to each person denied coverage or paying a higher premium, we could keep our existing health-care system and solve pre-conditions for one tenth the projected cost of Obama Care.

This Is Why We Need Obamacare
By NICHOLAS D. KRISTOF
THE biggest health care crisis in America right now is not the inexcusably messy rollout of Obamacare.
No, far more serious is the kind of catastrophe facing people like Richard Streeter, 47, a truck driver and recreational vehicle repairman in Eugene, Ore. His problem isnt Obamacare, but a tumor in his colon that may kill him because Obamacare didnt come quite soon enough.
The Tyranny of the Masses and majority rule leads to decisions made by a majority which place its interests far above an individual or minority group. The Bill of Rights protects the individual from mob rule.
The individual can sue in Federal Court to object the laws and regulations implemented by a usurper. To demonstrate standing against a sitting President, the individual must show a direct and particular injury due to the usurper, i.e. a loss of health insurance due to the ACA.
The individual objects to the ACA because the law was signed by a usurper. The individual has standing because they can show a direct impact because of the law. The burden of proof of eligibility for the office is upon the usurper once an objection is lodged and standing is obtained. During the discovery process, the individual can subpoena the usurpers complete birth records, Occidental College records, SSN application and immigration records to prove the allegation the usurper is not eligible for the office.
The plaintiff cannot have the Court remove the usurper from office only obtain an waiver from laws and regulations implemented by the usurper.

The essence of everything Obama does, following Alinsky, is perversion. Take what is right and impose the opposite. That is the operative principle.
I would like to know who these people are trying to kid because they will still have to pay the out of pocket maximums, which are huge. If they could not afford health care before they sure as heck won’t be able to afford it now. By the way, health care and health insurance are two different things.
Then you could really keep your policy or your doctor. Is anyone listening?
Sure they are listening.
But if we did it that way the Democrats wouldnt get to control 30% of the countrys economy (and milk the insurance and medical industry for campaign money).
The simple reason is that its the Marxist Way as outlined in several of their playbooks. Has nothing to do with health, only power and control.
Its the Marxist way.
Mr. Streeter chose to spend his money on other things, like smoking, rather than his healthcare. Now he and Kristol want to blame someone else for his lack of foresight.
Whores are winners - (sex workers had a difficult time getting health insurance in the past - for obvious reasons)
The 'dependent ones' who prop up the democrat party are winners.
Those who lie to collect disability are winners...
And some legitimate hard working Americans who don't earn a lot are winners. Some good winners, some bad...
Dems do the numbers when they provoke class warfare - and class warfare is what this is about...
In the short run there will be many winners, in the long run we'll all be losers.
I think you are wrong....Obama’s People will be getting FREE HEALTH CARE....ALL THEY WANT.....they will NOT PAY A PENNY FOR IT because they DON”T PAY A PENNY FOR ANYTHING THEY GET NOW FROM THE GOVT....NOTHING!!
Includes Obamacare advocate Ron Reagan Jr.
On WWVA last night, he said the monthly premium for him and his wife (with
a pre-existing condition) went down $400 per month.
He offered this as a great argument in favor of Obamacare.
Like the liberal fool he is, he seemed to think the peasants whose premiums
are skyrocketing to subsidize him would agree.
“I would like to know who these people are trying to kid because they will still have to pay the out of pocket maximums, which are huge.”
Most of the out-of-pocket deductibles I’ve seen exceed the amount of household liquid savings. So to your excellent point, who ARE they trying to kid? If Obamacare were to see actual wide-spread signups, the debt owed to hospitals and other health practitioners and diagnostic labs will quickly skyrocket. It will be as uncollectable as student loans.
The increase in monthly premiums will not help Americans save to cover the possibility of paying a deductible every year.
indeed, who’s kidding who?
it will quickly degrade into a system where hospitals pretend to treat patients, and patients pretend to pay for it.
Yes. If the problem had truly been the remaining uninsured and those with pre-existing conditions that excluded them from the insurance market, we could have extended Medicaid and offered something like earned income tax credits.
We on the right would have grumbled, but we'd have gone along with it in the end. But, obviously, the Democrats had more ambitious goals. Covering the uninsured was merely a pretense.
There will also be millions of new people eligible for Medicaid, which costs $0 per year.
Here in Washington state, for the first time, able bodied adults with near poverty level incomes now qualify.
