Here's her exact quote: "the weapon was a .223 MP-15, where the MP stands for military and police, clearly designed not for general consumption "
She's so (willingly) ignorant on the subject that she thinks that Smith and Wesson's marketing departing labeling it the "MP" means that it's only for use by the military and police, when in fact the vast majority of purchases are by ordinary citizens. The fact that S&W advertises the rifle almost exclusively to the general public means that by definition it was designed for "general consumption" as she so awkwardly puts it.
Exactly. 5.56 mm NATO, that would be military. The left’s ignorance in an area they wish to control is always good for a laugh.
Novelist Stephen King has mentioned both revolvers and Glocks during his slumming trips into Gunworld. (Respectively, “Salem’s Lot” and his most recent, “Dr. Sleep”)
With both firearms, he assures his “gentle Readers” that the “safety is on.”
Heh.
