Christianity does not need a code word.
Western and Christian are not synonymous nor equivalent.

You can believe that, if you choose to do so. But, Christianity tamed a pagan Europe in a way that even the pre-Christianity Roman Empire could not. Rome subjugated it, but never tamed it. Christianity brought a universal set of morals that extended beyond “to the victor goes the spoils”. All the art, culture, technology, etc that comes from Europe comes from Christianity. It hasn’t been perfect, but it has been the driving force in all that is good in the European circle of influence.
