Three Guys Built a Better Healthcare.gov
The Atlantic Wire ^ | Nov 2, 2013 | Connor Simpson

The Affordable Health Care act rollout was an unmitigated disaster thanks in large part to a cluttered website that both didn't work and was offensively ugly. Maybe things would not have gone so poorly if HealthCare.gov looked something like this.

No one knows the resources that went into building HealthCare.gov, but the government quickly realized it wasn't enough after that terrible first day, so they decided to bring in a crew of leading tech experts to fix the website's many, many problems. But the job was already at least partially completed by three unknown coders living in San Francisco.

Meet the Health Sherpa, the website HealthCare.gov probably should have been. George Kalogeropoulos, Ning Liang and Michael Wasser saw the troubled launch and decided they could do a better health care enrolment website better than the government and, by golly, they succeeded. The Health Sherpa makes it ridiculously easy for anyone to compare health care plans covered under Obamacare in 34 states. (They left out the 16 states with existing marketplace sites, though it seems support for those states is coming soon.) The result is a simple, beautiful, remarkably responsive website that anyone could use.

Here are step-by-step instructions to using the Health Sherpa.

1) Type in your zip code to see if your state qualifies for their help.

My brother and his company do websites like these all the time for 10 grand, one he told me he did for 5. And here these guys are charging half a BILLION lol lol lol. He’s says he knows the company that did this, theyre Canadian and have no idea what the hell they are doing. They also ripped off Purolator. just goes to show how easily this comiecare is going to bankrupt the country, everybody in the world is going to be ripping off billions through this monstrousity which to me is exactly why our admitted foreign born twice unconstitutionally elected Islamic commie POTUS wants it.

My brother and his company do websites like these all the time for 10 grand . . .

Well, did your brother and his company make a substantial donation to the Obama campaign? I'm sure there is a perfectly logical reason why this was outsourced on a no bid contract.

Just remember, while they’re scrambling as hard as they can to fix the website, that its complete and utter failure merely masks the true problems on the back-end side of things, where “completed” transactions get lost or mangled and personally identifying information has no reasonable expectation of security or privacy.

If they do manage to get the front-end “up and running”, that’s just going to be the beginning of the real problems.

Oh wow I heard this was a no bid, so they donated money to the Kenyan? And they get $600 million in return for a job monkeys could do better, just think how much health care that would pay for. I was reading about one guy who just lost his insurance in the middle of cancer treatments because of this Obamacare. Can you imagine that? Doctor tells you that you have cancer and you start the chemo and radiation and *poof* all that immediately ends because you no longer have insurance! I was talking the other day how 100 million people have died under communism. So just think: It’s happening again. Communism under this commie POTUS is going to cause more people to die. “Obama lied people died” is as spot on as it gets!

I doubt that you will find a Canadian corporation listed as a contributor to the ObaMao campaign. But you can be reasonably certain that their top brass arranged the donation through a bundler or other clever way to prevent tracking. You know this administration would never award a no-bid contract without getting something in return.

Even a more reputable organization like, say, the Mafia, doesn't work that way.
