I’m sorry but I can’t believe that out of at least 197 officers not one of them has step forward to blast the Obummer administration.

You can say they are afraid of losing their retirement benefits or their life, but at least one would have the balls to come forward.

What I really think is happening it the continuation of Roberts Gates’ idea of thinning out the Officer Corps to save money. Infractions that were overlooked in the past are being enforced now to find reasons to create a leaner Officer Corps.

Same thing is happening in the Enlisted Corps but it doesn’t make headlines. Heck, they are even tightening the tattoo policy. At the height of the Iraq war they loosened the policy to get warm bodies, now they are looking for reasons to get rid of people.

It’s a nice stab at being judicious, but look at Obama’s history for a moment. When has he EVER cared about saving money?

Maybe this is a purge and maybe it is not. But judging from the (apparent) silence of these people is not by itself grounds to dismiss the ‘purge theory’.

JFK assination - where are all those people on the Grassy Knoll who heard a shot from behind them? TWA 800 - what happened to all those people enjoying the evening sky on Long Island Sound that all said they saw a missle hit the plane?

Did not the authorities threaten legal action, including imprisonment, to anyone who reported their findings and/or questions outside of the official story of Sandy Hook? Why? Lots of legitimate unanswered questions and now the school is about to be bulldozed. But before that, all parties are required to sign a statement they will never reveal what they observe inside that building. How is it a tragedy of this magnitude is kept so under wraps?

There are more examples, but the point is silence by key people alone may not mean anything.
