If you look at the landscape sets they appear to be approved plans state by state. You can click the magnifying glass and enter your state and see approved plans. Here's my questions;

What is the difference between the SHOP list and the individual list for dental and medical?

If HC providers are dropping unapproved individual plans for 2014 will they drop unapproved HC employer group plans too? If so when?

Same questions for dental plans.

My wife’s company has already been told they have to choose a new policy next October since 2014 is the last year their current policy is allowed. Also that the policies they will be able to choose from will be more expensive.

Unless something changes, I’d guess a lot of companies will drop coverage and throw employees to the exchanges just in time for elections. An Obama EO may be necessary to “save” the elections for the democrats.

North Dakota does not have a state exchange. And the group plan I am on is not listed on the “landscape”.

It is actually not ACA but CACA © (Can’t Afford Care Act).

I was at the doctor’s this morning and they “claimed” they were converting all their records to electronic versions which with a good government is OK but not this one. When the receptionist asked me to sign the electronic pad saying I understood the HIPPA rules, (without actually giving me a copy) I refused unless she would assure me in writing that my information would not be shared with various government agencies like the IRS. She could not so I would not sign it.

Wow. I’d bet not signing doesn’t restrict the doctor from giving your information to the entities you listed.

I can’t understand why this post isn’t getting more replies. What do people think about the employer mandate being delayed until 2015? What do people think will happen when the employer mandate takes effect?

You are probably right but if I find out any of those agencies received any information which I did not sign any release I will go after the doctor.

You right about the lack of replies.

For Conservative having to swallow the fact that this country kills unborn babies under the guise of Privacy (not a right to abortion but the end result is the same) this would seem to be a hot button.

We have the same government telling us on one hand we have to share this info with various government agencies and on the other hand Privacy is so important, we can kill the unborn in its name.

And you know at minimum the DOJ will use this info to take 2nd Amendment rights away.
